Radeon graphics problems with CentOS 6.6
I thought about trying centos 7. But in the end that doesn't really help me since I'm trying to keep my current centos 6 installation working. I don't really have the time/energy to reinstall everyting under CentOS 7 right now. I was able to get a 6.6 LiveCD built myself. The liveCD has the same problem - X doesn't work. I can boot the "Basic Video" option from the

Sample size for proportion, not binomial
Hello, I am looking for a sample size function for samples sizes, to test proportions that are not binomial proportions. The proportions represent a ratio of (final measure) / (baseline measure) on the same experimental unit. Searches using RSeek and such bring multiple hits for binomial proportions, but that doesn't seem to fit my situation. Perhaps there's some standard terminology

usbhid-ups must use '-u root'
Hi all, (Keeping this in a separate email from my first one so as to not make it horribly complex) I've connected my Belkin F6C120auUNV UPS to my Debian 7.7.0 host via USB, and found that the usbhid-ups driver will not start unless I use the option '-u root', even when starting this driver as root: root at monitor:/lib/nut# cat /etc/nut/ups.conf [greything] driver =

Hi all, I've got nut going with a Belkin F6C120auUNV. Eaton Powerware 5110 - some stats not reported
Run the driver with -DDDDD and see what variables it picks up. I have noted that with the Prestige 9 in bcmxcp, some variables are not consistent within models, and had to do some gentle remapping to get things to work correctly. - Tim On 02/12/2014 06:46 PM, Greg Vickers wrote: > Hi all, > > I've hooked up an Eaton Powerware 5110 to Ubuntu 13.10 server, and > configured nut appropriately. Asterisk sharing a line with POTS handsets: how to interoperate cleanly?
I now have an OpenVox A400P and it is working well. Thanks to Ade Vickers for the recommendation, which I second. However, I need to make a slow transition between a conventional multiple-extension setup and a full VoIP network on these premises. So at the moment the Asterisk box shares the PSTN connection with several conventional analogue handsets. The desired result...

[OT] IAX2 WiFi phone?
Does such a beastie exist? I've tried a couple of UT Starcom WiFi SIP phones (the F1000g and F3000 respectively), and found them both to be seriously lacking - regular crashes (especially the F3000), poor battery life, and poor reception in particular. However, whilst SIP phones are great, I'd really like an IAX2 phone if there is one, as I can make that work "natively" though
