VICA TRONIX 620
Hi,
Last August I posted a query on the VICA TRONIX 620 and I missed a reply that Arnaud very kindly posted, asking about the protocol that they use.
I don't get very far talking to the sales staff: they don't seem to know.
Does this page provide any info?

VICA TRONIX 620
Hi,
Here in Mexico they sell a UPS by VICA model TRONIX 620 and claim it "works" on Linux. Communicating with them results in that they don't seem to know. Anybody ever heard of a box like that?

Is there a way to get info who disconnected the call into CDR?
...sion is 1.6. I'm setting up a custom CDR fields and I was wondering
is there a way to know who initiated a hangup? Asterisk must be aware of
that info somehow, cause in queue_log, that info is present
(completecaller, completeagent) Is there a way to get that info on the
regular SS7 to SIP (and vica versa) calls?
Best regards

[LLVMdev] llvmdev: Windows support
Hello, everyone!
My name is Žiga Osolin and I am one of administrators of baadengine
project (www.baadengine.org). It is an open source, BSD-licenced, game
engine. We are very interested in llvm to provide us runtime code
generation (basically, wrappers to easily call scripts from C++ and
vica-versa, via vtbl (we replace vtbl for scripted types)) and also to
allow our VM to run on llvm. Our engine is intended to be OS neutral, so
we also need windows version of llvm. I have checked the latest version
of llvm and the VC7.1 projects don't seem to be up-to-date with you

xen version compatibility
If I have a linux kernel on dom0 from xen 3.0.2 and my xen binary is
version 3.1.0, can I expect things to work? What about if my dom0
kernel and xen binary are both 3.1.0 and I have a para virt domU with
xen 3.0.2 code in? What about if the tools are from a different
version of xen?
I''m asking because I''m running fedora 6 and I''d like to try out xen
3.1.0 or 3.0.4

[PATCH] Enable uppercase letters to be entered in QEMU monitor terminal
...set 10742, the attached patch
is the simplest solution to make shift keys work - it tracks the shift key
and caps lock key state. If both are active, or both inactive, then no
transform is made; If either one, or the other (but not both) are active,
then the letters a-z are transformed to A-Z, and vica-verca.
A real long term solution would be to somehow get the monitor to use
the proper keymap tables like the SDL display does, but that''s something
which should really be done upstream rather than as a Xen patch since it
would be a rather large amount of work.

windows and nfs4 acls
Hi everyone
We're really struggling with nfs4 <--> windows acls.
Scenario
Samba4 share --> cifs --> win7. No problem
Samba4 share --> nfs4 --> Linux. acls not inherited
Neither is there inheritance vica versa.
e.g. It is not possible to create files with group rw on a umask 0022
nfs4 share. nfs4_setfacl cannot override umask. Using POSIX or windows
acls this works fine. I've approached the nfs4 devs and they've said
that they'll look into it, but so far. Exporting nfs4 with -o no...

Network update disrupts network usage
Dear libvirt users,
I am encountering problems with network connections from VMs while
running net-update on the host. I would be very grateful for
suggestions of fixes or workarounds.
I am using libvirt in the context of an automated test system which
creates and destroys VMs fairly rapidly, hence network updates occur
often.
## Reproducer
The issue can be reproduced as follows.
Run in a VM:

password sync in 1.9.18p4
I had given NIS access to the Windows NT domain users via Samba
1.9.18p3. The Samba gateway worked great when the users on the NT domain
had the same username & password on both the NT PDC as well as the NIS.
I have now set up Samba 1.9.18.p4 with server security & password sync
turned on. The server specified is my NT PDC. Users get full access to
the NIS & the NT with single logon

FYI: Notes on setting up KVM guests using iSCSI
...-with-qnap-virt-manager-part-1-of-2/
..and a virt-manager on the KVM host:
http://berrange.com/posts/2010/05/04/provisioning-kvm-virtual-machines-on-iscsi-with-qnap-virt-manager-part-2-of-2/
You can of course mix+match, doing the iSCSI server the manual way and the
libvirt bits the GUI way and vica-verca. Any other commercial iSCSI server
will have the same concepts so the libvirt instructions apply in all likely
scenarios.
Regards,
Daniel

ACL wrong category user for group and group for user
Hello,
If I try to set acl under windows, something very strange appears.
For instance, if I set something for the user samuel I get this with the
command getfacl :
default:_*group*_:samuel.ruet:r-x
And if I set something for the group sa-si I get this :
default:_*use*_r:sa-si:r-x
Under windows all seems good...
I recently change idmap config... ( add rid backend )
Here is my smb.conf :

?Does anybody have a clue on what I'm doing wrong? Attached goes my

Thanks a lot in advance.

wbinfo can not convert User names and Group name to S ID
...D
Hi there,
I've been fighting with winbind for over 4 hours now and read every
related article I found on google to no avail. A server of mine
rebooted due to power outage today and a perfectly running winbind +
AD setup, wbinfo can now no longer convert user names or group names
to SID or vica versa. The weird part is that the built-in groups work
just fine.

Re: [Fedora-xen] RHEL5 - Xend will not start after software upgrade
Hello,
Recently I ran yum update on a RHEL5 x86_64 machine and as part of the update, the following packages were installed:
Updated: xen-libs-3.0.3-41.el5.x86_64
Updated: xen-libs-3.0.3-41.el5.i386
Installed: kernel-xen-2.6.18-53.1.14.el5.x86_64
Updated: xen-3.0.3-41.el5.x86_64
After the update, I rebooted the machine. Now, I cannot get xend to start:

A group is set both as user and group too.
