nfs based shared home dir question
Hai..   I need to have my home dirs shared over some of my servers. I did setup a nfs4 kerberos base Debian jessie, samba 4.1.17 and sernet samba 4.1.3 on these servers.   This works, i can mount without problems.   But because verything is created with the windows user tools, the owner/Group is root. Like this   Server:   ls -al drwxrwx---+  2 root  root 4096 Sep  4 13:17 someuser   getfacl someuser # file: someuser # owner: root # group: root user::rwx user:root:rwx user:someuser:rwx group::r-x group:root:r-x...

Multiple ISDN BRI Units with Asterisk usingBristuff zaphfc in NT mode?
...ltan My problem turned out to be a termination problem. When using zaphfc together with other zap cards, it seems to be of importance in which order the drivers are loaded as well - At least in my case it would only work right if the X100P driver was loaded before the zaphfc driver. I have got verything working now, so if you have any questions you are more than welcome. You didn't write if you intended to use the ISDN cards to connect to ISDN lines, or if you wanted to create a setup like mine, with the card/cards in NT mode, acting as an ISDN switch of it's own. -- Greetings, Carl...

Changing ACLs as administrator
One work-around would be to create a hidden share that only Domain Admins can access. The use "force user=root" on that share. Then you'll be able to change ACL's and not be root. Installing SerNet Debian Samba
I've got myself in a bit of a pickle trying to install the latest Samba 3.6.20-31 package from SerNet on a Debian Wheezy server. The installed Debian version of Samba was 3.6.6. It's an off-line test server, and I'm still getting to grips with Debian, so no harm done, but I'd like to know the proper procedure to install this software! What I've done is: Edited
