Launch Linux verison of Firefox from Lotus Notes 7?
I'm running Notes 7.0.2 and have tried 2 versions of wine so far
(0.9.30, 0.9.29). I'm going to try some in the 0.9.19-0.9.21 range
since those seem to take care of another problem I've got, but my gut
tells me that this change won't fix my firefox launching problem.
The closest I can find to my problem is bug 2222, but that's been fixed
for years. Since I don't see

R version 2-12.0 - running as 32 or as 64 bit?
Question: I installed R verison 2-12.0 on my Windows 7 (64 bit) PC.
When I was installing it, it did not ask me anything about 32 vs. 64 bit.
So, if I run R now - is it running as a 32-bit or a 64-bit?
thank you!

printer frustrations
I've got an old HP LaserJet 1018. It's a winprinter. After I bought a new
router (to go inside the Verison one), I plugged it directly into my box (ok,
via a hub). I run CentOS 6. Before we went on the trip, I could print, I
upgraded my system, and this is the first time I'm trying to print... and no joy.
I've tried sending the firmware to it via lp -o raw ... -h :9100, and

Random Behavior on Trunk Lines with TDM Card
We have implemented * in one of our branch offices and recently ran up
against a very strange issue. On random occasions, when we would dial
out using our trunk lines, we would get a message stating "you do not
have to dial a 1 or 0 when calling this number" even if we didn't dial a
1 or 0 in the dial sequence at all. After much troubleshooting, we found
users with similar issues

Door not hitting me on my way out
Sorry, folks. I wish our release developers well, and hope that they
can open up their processes to allow much needed community involvment.
But I've hopped to Scientific Linux and find it much more usable due
to their willingness to publish updates even without the entire new
release bundled, and the much timelier updates from the upstream
vendor. php53 and bind97 are directly available for

Windows offline files synchronization failure for mounted Samba drive.
Windows offline files synchronization fails for mounted Samba drive unless
files are "owned" by the user performing the synchronization.
You can duplicate this problem by making a folder or file which is located
on a samba mounted drive available offline.

network samba drive, right click on a test file
