Hi,
Here's a version I modified which grabs either a development or stable
verision, and does a backup before updating from CVS. It also asks for
addon's and cc.
Leif Madsen did the original development and Mark released it.
My changes does the minimum changes to previous version, to get what I need.
It does the same version checking as the Make script uses should .versio...

experinental revision of the 'snow' package
...revises the way in which worker processes are
started to allow snow to be used on Windows and Mac/Windows/Linux
combinations. I have successfully used the SOCK version on a
standalone Windows machine and combinations of Windows and Linux; the
MPI version also works for me with DeinoMPI and the Rmpi verision for
DeinoMPI.
I would welcome it if some current snow users could try this verison
in their settings to help iron out any major issues I missed before
release to CRAN.
Thanks,
luke

revoking ssh-cert.pub with serial revokes also younger certs
...v with ssh-keygen -Qf i see "debug1:..." So i think, debug
is compiled in.
ssh-keygen --help gives me
ssh-keygen -k -f krl_file [-u] [-s ca_public] [-z version_number] file ...
so... option -z is not the serial of the certificate, it is the
version-number of the KRL-File...
My openssh-Verision from Debian is 1:7.4p1-10+deb9u7. Maybe, this
openssh-version does not support revoking a certificate by it's
serialnumber. This leads me to the next question... The serial-number of
a certificate is uniq over all certificates, or is it allowed, to
increment serial-numbers for each certificate...

Oggenc ideas / source and request
...r modified:
- wav-header and wav-data-len handling
- multichannel encoding
- header update (after encoding) with an average bitrate value (into the
vi.bitrate_nominal variable)
- 64bit floating point precision (maybe you say that it is not important,
but I'd like to compare with the 32bit verision)
what's missing:
- stream support (stdin/stdout)
And I have a small request too:
If somebody has a little time, please make an executable from this source
with the same compiler witch was used to the beta3 encoder (for Win9x),
because it seems my Watcom C compiler doesn't like some parts...

Problems compiling pridump utility
...ridump.o -L. -lpri -lzap -Wall -Werror
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -g
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lzap
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I am new to all of this, so I am sure I am missing something obvious,
any help will be appreciated.
I am using libpri verision 1.0.4 with Fedora Core version 2.6.5-1.358.
Note: Asterisk and the kernel modules compiled fine, I would just like
to try out this utility.
Thanks,

Dispersed cluster tune, optimize
Hi all,
I have setup a dispersed cluster (2+1), verision 3.12.
I guessed that we going to get punished by small read/writes...
and I was right.
A calculation that usually takes 48 hours
took about 60 hours and there are many small read/writes
to intermediate files that at the end get summed up.
Is there a way to tune, optimize a dispersed cluster to wor...

substitute creates an object which prints incorrectly (PR#9427)
The function "substitute" seems to fail to make a genuine
substitution, although the printed verision seems fine. Here is an
example.
> m <- substitute(Y <- function(x) FUN(x+1),
+ list(Y = as.name("y"), FUN = as.name("sin")))
> m
y <- function(x) sin(x + 1)
> eval(m)

However the story doesn't end there. The substitution app...

swfdec not working - how to troubleshoot?
Hi,
I'm a fedora user and I didn't know about your great project (shame on
me). Only project I head about before that tried to do that you are
doing is gnash.
I'm testing fedora rawhide (development verision - soon to be Fedora
9). Rawhide currently uses Firefox 3 and swfdec installed by default -
that is how I got to know about your project.
Current version in rawhide is swfdec-0.5.5. I seam to have on success
playing any video from wide bookmark list of video sharing sites. I

Asterisk Newbie
Hello all
I have been learning * from almost 1 month now. It looks really powerfull. I
have some problem trying to find previous post, or solutions to common
problems, advice to newbies etc in this mailing list. There is no a
forum-like tool to search thru the posts by keyworks for example. Please
correct me if I am wrong.
That is why I will post my questions here:

[Bug 65] New: TCP Wrappers support does not log successful connections
...e()], but special care must be
taken to log connections that succeed. It's not a show-stopper, since other,
more detailed logging mechanisms exist, but it'd be a nice thing to have, since
it shows that the allowed connection passed the wrappers. That, and tcpd and
the commercial [at least verision 1.2.whatever] do it.
