Re: [PATCH] kexec/kdump: statically allocate xen_phys_cpus
You posted to xen-ia64-devel & xen-ia64 (deleted the wrong word?)
rather than xen-devel so I added that to the CC.

SRIOV test on Xen with Intel 82576
Hi,
I am working of Intel 82576 device to test the SRIOV functionality. I want
to assign VFs to a VMs(domU) and verify the control and data path.
I installed Xen-unstable with 2.6.30-rc3(dom0). But the SRIOV functionality
isn''t working, because MSI is not supported.
Please let me know, what version of Xen and dom0 supports above
functionality?
Is there any tool available to manage SRIOV

Invalid comment fields...
Just been looking at a few speex files i have, and it seems several of them
have comment packets that are not to spec....
Specifically, they are not in the format a=b, some of them just have a field
with data and no "key". The files say they were encoded with speex 1.0,
should these be considered invalid, ie just ignore any malformed comment
field ?
Thanks,
Zen.

[OT] Is there a secure reverse IMAP proxy
This question is off topic. I ask this list
because the question is related to security and
IMAP and I guess the people in this list know
a lot about both of that.
Is there a secure reverse proxy for the IMAP protocol?
Something you can install on a bastion host which
checks the IMAP traffic before forwarding it to
the internal IMAP server?
There are these proxies for WebMail to IMAP connections

Setting a Default Domain
I'm working on migrating to Dovecot. At the moment, I have a mail path
that includes the domain, so I'm using %d to get that. However, if users
authenticate without specifying a domain (i.e. using "bob" instead of
"bob at wiktel.com"), then %d expands to nothing. I'd like to have that
expand to a default domain (wiktel.com) instead. Is that possible?
Thanks,

[Patch] Enable "sysrq c" handler for domU coredump
Hi,
In the case of linux, crash_kexec() is occured by "sysrq c".
In the case of DomainU on xen, Help is occured by "sysrq c" now.
So The way of dumping DomainU''s memory manualy is nothing.
I fix this issue by the following way.
1. Panic is occured by "sysrq c" on both Domain0 and DomainU.
2. On DomainU, coredump is generated in /var/xen/dump (on Domain0).

Tutorial/Docs for using libvorbis directly
Hi,
We needed a vorbis decoder that operated differently from the approach taken
libvorbisfile. So I sat down, looked through the docs, and the sample decoder
that come with libvorbis and wrote our own.
Since I couldn't find any docs for the API for libvorbis itself, I've written
some. It details all the steps you need to go through to write a _basic_
reusable decoder library using

VorbisFile library crashs.
Hello!
There is a problem with the VorbisFile library. It only works when I open an
OGG file for
the 1st time. After I closed the file and try to open another one or the
same it crashs. It seems it applies to the use of either ov_open or ov_test
functions or their combination.
I wrote a test app that illustrates the bug. It crashs with a message
"Unmapped memory exception". It's

RFC: xencomm in common
Hi,
xencomm is the ppc infrastructure to do hypercalls with guest physical
addresses instead of virtual address.
Because ia64 should also use physicall address, I think it''s better to re-use
the ppc code and to put into common code.
I''d propose to submit this patch is every part is OK (ie no NAK).
This patch creates include/xen/xencomm_access.h which is to be included by

[PATCH 00 of 38] xen: add more Xen dom0 support
Hi Ingo,
Here''s the chunk of patches to add Xen Dom0 support (it''s probably
worth creating a new xen/dom0 topic branch for it).
A dom0 Xen domain is basically the same as a normal domU domain, but
it has extra privileges to directly access hardware. There are two
issues to deal with:
- translating to and from the domain''s pseudo-physical addresses and

preliminary Speex support in Sweep
Hi Jean-Marc and others,
I put Speex support in Sweep (a sound editor) yesterday, and had some
fun with it :) I'd like to get some feedback before releasing it
publically.
I'm not really used to speech codecs (I work more with music) but I've
been quite impressed at the file size and quality (especially when you
hear what I did with some of the sample files ;)
I didn't have any
