Hi I updated samba today to 3.0.5. Printing stopped working. The log says: [2004/08/02 14:28:57, 0] printing/print_cups.c:cups_printer_fn(108) Unable to connect to CUPS server localhost - Verbindungsaufbau abgelehnt I'm using lprng not cups. Is samba ignoring printing = lprng? I tested lpr it still works as usual. Is there anything else I should check? Thanks. Best, Hans

Hallo , when I try to change user password on samba server i become this error : error connecting to 127.0.0.1:139 (Verbindungsaufbau abgelehnt) unable to connect to SMB server on machine 127.0.0.1. This question has already been asked in the past, but there was no answer. The above message is logged quite often in /var/log/samba/log.samba-dcerpcd. This is a stand-alone anonymous read-only server. Is it something to worry about? It smells like samba isn't working properly. If yes, how can I fix it?
