i have the same problem .. latest wine folder .. same ubuntu version .. and when installing the mfc42 and/or vcrun6 and comctl32 dlls via winetricks .. is it ok if i just download the files, and place them in the sys32 directory and run the regsvr32 for those dlls if necessary ???? thank you for your valuable feedback!

I have tried to install winetricks manually through the terminal as well. I really have no idea why this is going on, All I need to be able to use right now is vcrun6, and I can't get it to show up. Metatrader 4 ( http://www.metaquotes.net/ ) do run in Wine but is not fully compatible ie not all function are working. I wish future Wine will enable Metatrader 4 to run properly.
