Hi Exact same error occures on a dual AMD64 Fedora Core 3 64 bit with samba 3.0.20Pre1. However, I have discovered taht putting the compile option "-m32" in the C compiler flags, which force 32 bit compilation, the error doesn't happen. I have a total of 20 CentOS 4.1 systems running on fairly new hardware. About 6 of them are experiencing strange hangs without any indication -- nothing in /var/log/messages nor on the console -- sometime within 10-30 minutes after a reboot. All it means is that rsync saw a file that needed transferring but the file was gone when rsync actually tried to open it. So look at the filenames and decide if it is a problem or not. Hello folks! I've desperately been trying to write some shared libraries/DLLs using the .Call() interface. I can't get the symbols to resolve. Under Linux, dyn.load() tells me that the following (and presumably much more) is missing: Rf_length_FG7SEXPREC Under Windows, I simply can't get R to build under cygwin for the life of me. (Embarassing to admit, but those are the facts.)

I'm getting a couple of systems that are arriving with the new 3ware 9550sx controller. Does anyone know when this will be natively supported by CentOS? Has anyone built an RPM of the driver/module for this new controller?
