I tried to use the current cvs version of ogg123 with oss output and the ogg just sounds like static. I wanted to document it on the list in case anyone else is having the problem. I can make ogg123 write wav files fine. Also Vakor does not have any trouble playing oggs with ogg123, so I am not certain what the problem is. I have tried compiling all of ogg vorbis (ao,ogg,vorbis,vorbis-tools) several times without success. Who wants it? Do you? I know I do. I have a patch here that applies to the cvs from a couple of nights ago. I like how modular the inputs are... it made the development that much easier. I'm not a "professional" alsa developer, so people may find problems. I was able to stream a test stream for a couple of minutes with no (noticable) problems. I'm going to do more testing

If you report this error without upgrading the mpg123 plugin, I will probably slap you :) freeamp - vakor has been working with the freeamp guys.
