SAS and R on multiple operating systems
Hi, This is not meant to be critical of R, but is intended as a possible source for improvements to R. SAS needs the competition. I am reasonably knowledgeable about R SAS-(all products including IML) SAS and R run on Windows(all flavors) UNIX(all flavors) Apple OSs Does R run on natively (no emulation)? We have quite a few users on these systems VAX-VMS Z-OS (mainframe) MVS VM/CMS(IBM)

New Feature Request
Hi puppet masters, while working on my site I came across a requirement that might be helpful for others as well.... With the aim of confining human errors as much as possible, I thought that it would be nice to have yum repositories disabled so that specific repositories could be enabled for certain packages. This is easily implementable via command-line, but I found that the

Exec file incompatible with hardware
Sorry if this is going to be one of those 'idiot' questions, but I don't use Samba. It has always been on our server, chugging along beautifully so no on ever had to touch it... Well, we consolidated servers and moved everything to another server with HP-UX 10.20 (the previous server had the same HPUX version so I thought I was in the clear), the samba version is samba-1.9.18p2. Shared File System
I have a few cases where I need to share a filesystem (Read/Write) with multiple DomUs. Currently I use NFS to accomplish this task. However, NFS on Fedora 7 locks up under heavy traffic from time to time, forcing a reboot. Wouldn''t want that on the Dom0. Any one recommend a good way of sharing a file system in read/write with multiple DomUs? -- View this message in context:
