PDF Compression
Hi, I am generating a large number of graphs with pdf() and incorporating them in pdf document using pdflatex. According to the pdf() help: 'pdf' writes uncompressed PDF. It is primarily intended for producing PDF graphics for inclusion in other documents, and PDF-includers such as 'pdftex' are usually able to handle .compression. But pdflatex incorporates the R

I suspect my fontconfig utilty isn't working correctly to add new fonts or maybe Mozilla doesn't install in the right config area. When I start up FF 52.8, no error messages about fonts. The de-install seemed to correct this, among other things. In answer to Liam's question re gedit -- then answer is NO -- no bad ou...

The problem is not with your installation of CentOS, it is with the computer you are connecting from. Read the error log you pasted earlier, it tells you exactly what the problem is and how to remedy it: > > Add correct host key in /Users/andy/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this > message. > Offending ECDSA key in /Users/andy/.ssh/known_hosts:22 Open up the file

Idle time out
Hi, I don't know if this is the approriate place to post it. But it really annoying me. My ssh connection times out every 10 minutes or so and I want it to keep open for like 3 hours so that I don't have to relogin. However, I cannot find an option to change this!! In the Secure SSH we have a option called IdelTimeout to deal with this but OpenSSH seems to totally ignore this option. Can

Log analysis tools
Does anyone have any log analysis tools? I'm currently configured with "log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m", which makes identifying issues with any one client easy, but doesn't provide me with an overall picture of what has been happening. What I'd like to be able to produce is a report showing, for a given unit time, the total number of clients that have connected,
