helped me (The application took the new machine-name, but still took the
IP from the primary-Interface).
Is there any way to tell wine somewhere, not to use the primary
interface or that IP ?...

ActiveComputerName vs ComputerName
...are values from registry (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ComputerName\).
If I use `wine regedit` to set ActiveComputerName to any value after a short time it becomes equal to the value of ComputerName.
Can I set ActiveComputerName different than ComputerName?
P.S. I have wine-1.3.13 and UseDnsComputerName=N.

steam and wine
I have sucessfully gotten steam and wine to work however I cannot use
microphone for voice communication , I an using alsa .Is there a way to
turn on fullduplex sound like you do in winex by going into config and
changing fullduplex=Y or does wine not support such a feature?
