Wow, that is an upsteam commit from 2005. However, I would like some kind of explanation. Is it in fact now false that | # These don't cross-compile ? Should this patch go upstream ? RHEL 7 Beta is now public
Hi, http://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/rhel/beta/7/ Go get it ( maybe consider using a mirror ), play with it, test it, and file reports. Dont use it in production. As in the past, we highly encourage people to use the official beta builds from Red Hat and to report issues at http://bugzilla.redhat.com/ Within CentOS, we are going to do a CentOS7Beta1 build to match the release upsteam, and do it in

wiki contribs 4 centos
Hello Gents, I feel I should do more for the community and contribute writing the occasional wiki article to improof the overall centos experience. Having worked for the upsteam .src provider for nearly 7 years I should be able to do so... gecko-libs dependency resurfaces
In doing an update of centos 5.2 this morning, I observed that the old gecko-libs dependency issue caused yum update to fail because it was required by nspluginwrapper (x64_86), devhelp, yelm and firefox. Also, a firefox (x64_86) showed the red hat splash screen rather than centos. Manual installation of affected rpms using --nodeps (I don't advise this) did not apear to impair the

Fasttrack Repo on CentOS 4
A quick question on the fasttrack repo which is now up to date with upstream. Why is the fasttrack repo not in the main CentOS-Base.repo file but contrib which has never had anything is included in the main CentOS-Base.repo file? The goal of CentOS is to be binary-compatible with upstream so fasttrack is "more important" in this regard than contrib. Upsteam ships with the main channels

large packet support in netfront driver and guest network throughput
Hi All, I am sure this has been answered somewhere in the list in the past, but I can''t find it. I was wondering if the linux guest netfront driver has GRO support in it. tcpdump shows packets coming in with 1500 bytes, although the eth0 in dom0 and the vif corresponding to the linux guest in dom0 is showing that they receive large packet: In dom0: eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr

CentOS 4.3 apt repo
I asked this before when I configured another CentOS box, but I forget the answer. In my apt sources folder, I don't have a repo that is the equivalent of the yum Centos.Base.repo. Where do I find such a file?

Need to increase call count
Hi all. I've got a project where I need to make outbound calls and play a prerecorded .wav file to the called number. So far, I've only been able to make about 15 concurrent calls before the cound quality gets poor, and I really need to increase this. I've got QoS configured to prioritize IAX2 traffic above all and my connection to the Internet is a PtoP 100Mb ethernet link.

SAMBA4: pdbedit not changing SID
Since I don't seem to be having any luck with the classicupgrade, I decided to try starting from scratch and then adding users. I ran the command: /usr/local/samba/bin/samba-tool domain provision --realm=<my realm> \ --domain=<mydomain> --adminpass 'mypass' --server-role=dc \ --dns-backend=BIND9_DLZ Then I tried both adding and changing users. GPU passthrough issue when VM is configured with 4G memory
Hi,all I have tried to passthrough GPU card(Nvidia quadro 4000) on the latest Xen unstable version (QEMU is using Qemu-upsteam-unstable, not traditional Qemu). This issue as below: Windows7 64-bit guest will blue screen when GPU passthrough configure 4g memory, blue screen code is 50, and SUSE 11 64-bit guest will always stay at the grub screen. I noticed that it will relocate RAM that

This diagnostic is unclear. But to be more precise, the first part says the optimisation could not be performed. This is spot on, and an improvement of what we had before because that didn't issue
