WINS not caching second Samba Server
Background:
I have 2 SMB Servers; one is configured to be the Preferred Master
(fserver), the other (upstairs) is configured to just share some files.
I want it to connect and update the WINS configuration on the Preferred
Master. Configuration files for both servers are attached.
Also worth mentioning that both the 'fserver' and 'upstairs' reside on
the same network.

I can no longer access the Windows machine's printer form Debian.
I have tried many things and done a great deal of googling but cannot
seem to find an answer. I have the following errors:-

extended error
Hi all,
This is happening on a Samba 3.0.1 PDC-controlled domain, so I'm not
sure if the issue is Samba-related. If not, perhaps somebody can point
me in the right direction.
One of my users has a printer connected to his Win2k PC (name
UPSTAIRS-SMALL). Printing to it from another (WinXP) workstation fails
miserably. I tried to go back to first principles and go Start->Run
\\upstairs-small to see the shares on the machine.
That returns: "an extended error has occurred". Very helpful.
Then, in a dos prompt:

Music on hold, Call Parking, etc
Ok, this falls under the newbie category:
Has anybody created any documentation on using musiconhold or call parking?
I have found sample config files for musiconhold, but I'm not sure how they
work.
[musiconhold.conf]
[classes]
loud=>mp3:/var/lib/asteriks/mohmp3
How do I then set up this feature in extensions.conf?
I can't seem to find an example of what I'm looking for (or I

and vorbis-tools. The machine is only supposed to do one thing (and to
do it well, UNIX philosophy :oD): fetch an audio stream (produced by
MPD/Icecast upstairs on a big PC) and then output it from the soundcard
to the AUX IN from the stereo.
I have a partial - and near-total - success, in that everything runs

Samba after upgrade+migration, Win7 workstation trusts lost
...t those lines and replace them with the matching lines from
the passwd and shadow files from the old server.
I tried logging on to my own workstation, and things seemed to work - my
netlogon was processed, drives were mapped. I'm pretty sure my wife heard me
yelling with success all the way upstairs. I then went upstairs to her
workstation and tried to log on, only to get the now-familiar message about
the lost trust to the domain. Puzzled, I went back downstairs to my
workstation, logged out, and tried to log back on. No luck whatsoever, same
message about lost trust. Nothing changed on the...

That is, I have a source tree with the following subdirectories:

/openssl-0.9.6/
/openssh_cvs/
and want "configure", run from openssh_cvs, to be able to find the zlib

This is useful if you don't have any other software on the system that
uses openssl (no web servers or the like installed here) and do not want
to fill up your $prefix/ with lots of stuff that isn't actually used.
It works, kind of, right now, if I do the following:

Extension 'hint' info please?
I have a Polycom 500 and would love one of the line-appearance keys to
show me if a certain person/people are on the phone upstairs. This
'hint' priority seems to have little-to-no documentation. So, if anyone
out there has a clue about this, here are a couple of questions:
Can you 'hint' Zap and IAX2 extensions?
Can you concatenate extensions together?

SellVOIP
I was quite surprised to find a message in my in box from SellVOIP a
day or two ago. It indicated I was running out of credit which was a
surprise as I thought they'd gone under a large number of months
back. So I ran upstairs, added their entry back to sip.conf,
uncommented a couple of lines in extensions.conf and I'm again using
sellvoip to make outgoing calls.
The reason I was running out of credit is they were charging me for a
DID I had not been using since they went off line, but a message to

internet wireless network requirements
I currently am using CentOS 4.4 desktop computer. What would I need to recieve an internet signal from a wireless router that is connected to an Apple computer that is located upstairs? I am in the basement less than 150 feet from the Apple computer. I do not have wireless card in the CentOS desktop computer and am looking for a card to install to accomplish this.

UK FXO hangup detection with a twist
Hi,
The twist? We actually have far-end hangup detection working fine, and
that seems to be where the problem lies for most people. Our problem
seems to be with requesting a hangup from our end reliably.
If we originate the call, we can hang it up. This suggests to me that
the Sangoma A200D is sending the correct hangup signaling. This way
round, it is 100% reliable.
If we accept a call

I am new to this software, and I want to implement a client (SIP or IAX) with PHP or at least to pass the main functions (connection, call, transfer, hangup, call id etc) to a CRM.
Does anyone know if I could achive a project like that with AGI ? Any example using AGI with PHP ?
Do I have all the functionality with AGI ?

This is wrong!!
Recall (from upstairs) that e[34] was -5073.24843. That value seems to
have mysteriously vanished. Instead, the first non-NA in f - which is
f[35] - is 7660.00638, which (incidentally) was e[67]. I just don't
know how that value got here. And, the values in f[] seem to peter out
at 133! After 133, they are all NA...
