Eaton-9130 (usbhid-ups) no battery.voltage parameter!
Hi all.
I've installed latest NUT under Windows XP, all works fine, but when I run "upsc ups" command I don't see the battery.voltage parameter, which I most need.
Please help, where am I wrong?

How should upsc be used in order to get SSL/TLS protection? There is no
configuration file with a CERTFILE declaration. Is there some other way

How to find out the output of "upsc" for each UPS model supported by NUT ?
Hi
When purchasing a new UPS, one of the major functionalities I would
assess, is the support is has by NUT.
We have the http://www.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html page, where
we can see if a UPS is supported, and what the level is.
But I would really like to have more knowledge.
I would like to know how the output from the "upsc" looks, so I know
what values I will get from the

Can you provide a few more details? The latest version of NUT (2.7.2 at the moment) has not been ported to Windows. Also, what does

CyberPower SX650G no driver.
Hi. I have this this on a Odroid-u2 backing it up. Have the USB from the
CyberPower SX650G plug in the Odroid-u2 and when I do a lsusb it looks
like this:
Bus 001 Device 008: ID 0764:0501 Cyber Power System, Inc. CP1500 AVR UPS
The User's Manual list SE450G and SX650G. So I guess they would take the
same driver.
CyberPower web page has a driver but it's for i386 not ARM like

SNMP/management front-ends
Hi,
I've been using TrippLite's PowerAlert software with my RM2200XL2U rack
system and my APC BackUPS desktop systems. Unfortunately it doesn't work
with openSUSE 10.2 (the software has problems with the serial port and UPS
interfaces on openSUSE 10.2), so I've been looking at other options. I see
that openSUSE 10.2 includes NUT, and it appears to work with my TrippLite
UPS via

Since NUT uses TCP wrappers, I have the /etc/hosts.allow entry

When I pull the plug from the wall to test my setup, I get the

why upsc need no authentication?
Hi:
I found I can setup password for uspmon. but upsc can connect to
any upsd without authentication. although the ups data is not very
confidential, but I would like not to expose it to anyone who can
connect to server.
is there any method to harden upsd? thanks for hint.

Eaton-9130 (usbhid-ups) no battery.voltage parameter!
My windows version is 2.6.5-3, latest on NUT site.
"upsc ups" shows many ups parameters such as ups.load, battery.charge etc. but there is no battery.voltage, which I need (ups - is the name of my device in config).
If I load driver usbhid-ups in debug mode (-DD), I see something like Ups.summary.bla-bla (sorry, don't remember exactly it's name) parameter with the value, which

upsc "Error: ... Can't assign requested address"
Hello there.
I've just install nut 2.2 from source on my FreeBSD box. I have an MGE
AVR 600 UPS on a USB cable. Following the INSTALL instructions,
everything works in term of the USB driver detecting the right UPS and
upsd loads up and runs without error.
However, upsc reports the following error:
# upsc mge600 at localhost
Error: Connection failure:Can't assign requested address

Getting the NUT pieces to work together...
Sounds great!
By `connection error` it looks like the `upsc` client had nowhere to go. Is
`upsd` started (and does it `LISTEN` on locahost or asterisk per
`upsd.conf`)?
