history() does not work?
Hi,
> history()
gives Error in savehistory(file) : no history available to save
although I can scroll throu history with C^uparrow an C^downarrow.
How can I make history() work and/or show the current history in a file,
so that I can choose from previous commands?
The web did not throw up anything useful.

No "last command" in VIM?
Although I made sure that vim-enhanced.i386 is installed, pressing :
then upArrow does not show me the last command that I've typed. Might
I still be using vim-minimal erroneously? How to fix that? I don't see
any mention of this in google or the past few months of fine archives.
Thanks.

Oracle Forms 4.5
...pported key, vkey=0000, ansi=0000
fixme:keyboard:X11DRV_GetKeyNameText (00000001,0x40475e5c,49): unsupported key, vkey=0000, ansi=0000
The form runs ok but only F1 Key is mapped. Oracle uses it's own oracle terminal program to create a map file. The oracle actions are mapped to a key name like UpArrow or something. I think It's trying to map that windows name to a X keycode. Maybe it's not fully implemented?
Thanks
Justin

Current archive of r-help?
Is there an online archive of r-help that shows recent postings? The
one I saw on CRAN posted monthly collections, the last one at the end
of May.
The reason I ask is that I want to re-read that thread on the arrow
keys not working in the latest Windows release. I appear to have been
bitten by the same bug, and can't remember if anyone found a solution.

Opensuse 10.3 does not charge dom0
I decided to upgrade from openSuse 10.2 to openSuse 10.3. I installed xen things, but when I boot using xen option the system is blocked. It appears the green window, with little suse logo in the middle, and mouse cursor, but the system crashes.
My computer is a Pentium 4 1,5 GHz, 512 MB of RAM.
I attached "diff boot.msg boot.omsg" (as diff opensuse-normal-kernel opensuse-xen-kernel)

xen 3.3.0 etch sources console hangs
I installed xen 3.3.0 on a etch box from sources. I just modified the
standard kernel cause of some hardware drivers. I installed xen-tools
from backports (3.9-3~bpo40+1). To create a domU ist not the problem. I
can connect via ssh and everything works fine. But when i start a domU
with "xm create host.example.tld.cfg -c" to login to console from domU
it hangs after the message
