I think you posted your "dovecot -n" and LDAP configuration; however, this
thread has gone on so long untrimmed, that I am now completely lost.
I assume you have shutdown and restarted these applications after making
configuration changes? Sometimes that is the only way to make them work.

Top Quoting?
Sort of off-topic and don''t mean to complain, but many on this list
use top quoting. That works ok if you don''t quote the whole previous
thread. However, I''m finding that scrolling forever to locate the
reply on longer threads is getting tedious. What''s the rationale for
top-quoting?
Thx.

virtual folder - crash while searching
Hi,
I've upgraded from dovecot 2.0 to 2.1. When I perform a header search in

hello
I see this message in the dovecot error log every time
a user connect to IMAP service.

In the server's config I've this
mail_location =

As we can see INDEX files are not living in user's home directories but

Asterisk-Users List Etiquette
Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears!
Or, in this case, your eyes.
It has become a problem I've noticed over and over again, that we tend
to think the mailing list is some sort of forum, used to post whatever
your hearts desire. This list, not unlike any other mailing list, has
a purpose. A focus if you will. Hopefully this 'document' will point
