multiple moderated regression steps
...s suggestion (http://www.docstoc.com/docs/21151269/Moderated-Multiple-Regression-v5 p.6) my criteria for significence was the centered indipendent vairable (that has significant interaction level) in Block 2--------- is this way is correct????? second to plot this slope ? used Dawson' s 2 way unstandardised excel spreadsheet (http://www.jeremydawson.co.uk/slopes.htm). In spreadsheet it is required to enter unstandardised regression coefficients of IV, moderator and interaction. ?n which block the coefficients are true for entering IV and moderator co efficients????? ?n 1 block (that include main effec...

Basic GLM: residuals definition
...LM with simulated data; x<-rpois(1000,5) model<-glm(x~1,poisson) my.resids<-(log(x)- summary(model)$coefficients[1]) plot(my.resids, residuals(model)) This shows that my calculated residuals (my.resids) are not the same as residuals(model). p 65 of Annette Dobson's book says that GLM (unstandardised) residuals are calculated by analogy with the Normal case. So where am I going wrong? Thanks for your attention. Martin. Multiple regression in R - unstandardised coefficients are a different sign to standardised coefficients, is this correct?
Hello, I have a statistical problem that I am using R for, but I am not making sense of the results. I am trying to use multiple regression to explore which variables (weather conditions) have the greater effect on a local atmospheric variable. The data is taken from a database that has 20391 data points (Z1). A simplified version of the data I'm looking at is given below, but I have a

Factor Loadings in Vegan's PCA
Hi all, I am using the vegan package to run a prcincipal components analysis on forest structural variables (tree density, basal area, average height, regeneration density) in R. However, I could not find out how to extract factor loadings (correlations of each variable with each pca axis), as is straightforwar in princomp. Do anyone know how to do that? Moreover, do anyone knows
