Need help with auto-titlebar on unmaximized window with Compiz/Ubuntu 11.04/Unity
...x host environment as individual windows, we use undecorated windows, similar to how Wine shows Windows applications in X without having to be inside the full Windows desktop container. The problem I'm trying to figure out a solution for is that when our user maximizes the guest window and then unmaximizes it in Ubuntu 11.04's default Unity desktop environment, Compiz is putting a titlebar onto our window just like it puts one on Google Chrome. Can you guys please help me understand why Compiz is doing this, if it's something that Compiz is doing on its own or if it's Ubuntu's Unity...

Dissappearing gnome terminal contents
Hi. I was not able to find any notice of this issue in either the forums or bugzilla (http://bugs.opencompositing.org/) (is that still used btw) so I am posting it here in the hope that it is useful to someone. I am using gentoo and gnome 2.20 and the compiz version from git sources. When I maximize (vertically, horizontally, both) a gnome-terminal window the contents of the terminal window

Maximized windows dissappear
Hi, I am using the lastest git version of compiz and just run in to a new problem after switching to using the ini configuration plugin over the gconf-one. When I maximize a window and then try to move it to another viewport, the cube rotates but the maximized window disappears instead of moving along to the new viewport. The maximized window can be found using the scale plugin (only on show-all

To max about docking windows
Hi Max, I just wanted to add a comment about docking Windows in Wine. Now that you say it, I see a difference about a docking child window into the main Window. First common thing is that the child windows still does not have the same frame as the main frame but still the blue Windows frame. This could mean that the windows is still not connected properly. In my case, on Trados, When I open a

Wine and multiple X screens at different resolutions
Hello! I am a great fan of wine, and find it gets better every day. However, there is one problem that is almost make or break for me that I wonder is something just on my end or a genuine bug. I represent a small subset of wine users: those who have two LCD screens at different aspect ratios. I have a 20 inch 4:3 LCD at 1280x1024 and a 22 widescreen LCD at 1680x1050. Through Nvidia's control

Wine menu in Windows application
Hi! Here something I noticed: When using the application, most of the menu points are missing (this means I can save using the icon, the corresponding menu item is missing, the menu item "back" is missing although CTRL +Z (on a German keyboard) is working). Now, Wine's menu is being added see screenshot. The screenshot had been taken on Crossover but since it definitely comes from

missing X11 graphics title bar
I have on occasion had the problem of missing title bars on X11 graphics windows when using R, and would like to know what others have found in terms of the occurance, source, or solution of this problem. In searching for information on this I found only the brief thread from last November which I have copied below. Anyone who has experienced this knows it brings a very unwelcome interruption to
