Darned thing is suddenly failing. We had a reboot last night, and I changed a couple of files today too, so either one could somehow be responsible. But I can''t figure out how from this crash. First I noticed that my changes weren''t updating. Then I noticed that puppet wasn''t running. Then I found that it won''t, in fact, run. /selinux contains only a

How to label and unlabel points on scatterplot with mouse pointer
Dear all, How can I label/unlabel points on scatterplot with mouse pointer. As the mouse approches near to point, it should label the closest point, then unlabel when it moves away. How can I do in R? I be very thankful. Thanks and Regards, Hitesh Singla -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.

Strange column shifting with read.table
Hi, I am reading in a dataframe from a CSV file. It has 70 columns. I do not have any kind of unique "row id". rawdata <- read.table("r_work/train_data.csv", header=T, sep=",", na.strings=0) When training an svm, I keep getting an error So, as an experiment, I wrote the data back out to a new file so that I could see what the svm function sees.

Labelling /etc/resolv.conf (rh#1089100)
Hi, I was investigating rh#1089100, which is about /etc/resolv.conf not being properly SELinux-labelled. Basically the problem is due to /etc/resolv.conf in the guest (so available as /sysroot/etc/resolv.conf in the appliance) being moved when executing shell commands (eg guestfs_sh) by the daemon. This operation involves: a) moving away guest's /etc/resolv.conf b) replacing it with the

Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Hello everyone, I''m quite a newbie with Xen and I''m currently having an issue. I run Xen 4 on Debian Squeeze x64 and I''m trying to build an OpenFiler DomU from the Xen domU filesystem tarbal they provide (See http://www.openfiler.com/community/download/). I downloaded the tarball and run ''tar xzpvf /root/soft/openfiler-2.3-x86_64.tar.gz'' to extract

Logarithmic axis
Hi there, I guess this must be a standard issue, but I'm starting to go crazy with it. I simply want a plot with the x axis being logarithmic, having labels 1, 10, 100..., and ten unlabelled ticks between each of them - just as they introduce logarithmic axis at school. I've played around a bit with log="x", xlog=T (where exactly is the difference here?), xaxp, and xaxt (unfortunately xaxt="l" isn't implemented). The best I get is a plot with an axis havi...

CentOS 4.4 Xen VM/VPS install on CentOS 5 (xen kernel) issues
Ok So I''ve been able to successfully create a CentOS5 virt-install on xen using LVM created partitions. But have many problems trying to install 4.4 (It does not work with virt-install hence you have to try another method). I Created a name, name-tmp, name-swap, name-root paritions. I did mke2fs and mkswap no problem everything is good. I went on further to mount the name-tmp and

Indexed FLAC file?
Hi all, I have a very large music collection that I keep on a portable hard drive (to plug in to car USB, carry with when I'm at my office, etc). All but a few dozen files are part of an album, and not a single audio file. This translates to an insane amount of files stored on my hard drive. I am very strict about how I label and file my media (I loathe unlabeled audio tracks), but

Histogram with uneven bins
Hi R-helpers I would like to produce a histogram with uneven bins (e.g., 0, 1-2, 3-5, 6-10, 10-20, >20) but I would like the resulting bars to be the same width ( i.e., a bar's width would not be proportional to its corresponding bin size). Also, the x and y axes of my histograms frequently (almost always, actually) extend beyond the axis labels (i.e., there are unlabeled bars). I would

Lattice: don't draw unlabled tick marks
If I only want axis labels on the left and bottom I can set alternating=F like in the following example: Depth <- equal.count(quakes$depth, number=8, overlap=.1) xyplot(lat ~ long | Depth, data = quakes, scales=list(alternating=F) I also would like to get rid of the unlabeled tick marks (top and right). How can I do that? cu Philipp -- Dr. Philipp Pagel Lehrstuhl f?r Genomorientierte

trouble isntallint 5.2 in virtualbox
Hi! I'm using Virtualbox 3.08, have several other VMs in it, but cannot boot the Centos 5.4 (i386) DVD far enough to even reach Anaconda... I've tried all the various virtualbox and boot options I can think of and it always sticks in the same place: NetLabel: unlabeled traffic allowed by default NET: Registered protocol family 2 and there it hangs. I've left it for several
