[3.0.2] booster + unfsd failed
...point works well too.
When using booster, unfsd realpath check failed.
But ls util works well.
I tried 3.0.0-git head source build but result was same.
My System is Ubuntu 9.10 and using unfsd source from official gluster
download site.
Any comment appreciated!!

unfsd scalability issues
Hello there,
I believe that unfsd ( http://unfs3.sourceforge.net/ ) now does have
multi-threaded capability and as such should be fairly well scalable. I am
using it on CentOS 6.2 and it seems to become all but unusable when more
then 3-4 users connect to it. Is that normal? What sort of experience have
other people had?
Is there a way to parame...

Re: [users] CentOS 4.2 dag repo problem.
Hello,
It would be nice if we could get a full list of packages which have a wrong
sha1 checksum. I don't have the bandwidth for a full mirror of all of Dag's
rpms and i also don't have shell access to such a mirror. So a small
request for a mirror admin:
The following checks the files repodata/*.xml.gz against the sha1 sums in
repomd.xml and checks the RPMS/*.rpm files against

DO NOT REPLY [Bug 5027] New: Perms in do_mkstemp are not always valid
...invalid if the mode of the file is changed to a value which
would deny access to that process. One situation where this could occur is
on a stateless file system. This behavior will not occur in a conforming
environment.
I guess I have a non-conforming environment (I'm talking to a unfs3 server).
If I remove HAVE_FCHMOD, it still doesn't work, because the call to open()
includes the read-only permissions as well (a case I don't really see
referenced in SUSv3 right off).
The following patch makes sure that the user always has write permission to the
temp file:

Current setup:
Linux server with Samba as the PCD
Windows 2k and XP workstations are on the Samba domain and authenticate
all users with the Samba PDC.

nfs-alpha feedback
I ran the same dd tests from KnowYourNFSAlpha-1.pdf and performance is
inconsistent and causes the server to become unresponsive.
My server freezes every time when I run the following command:
dd if=/dev/zero of=garb bs=256k count=64000
I would also like to mount a path like: /volume/some/random/dir
# mount host:/gluster/tmp /mnt/test
mount: host:/gluster/tmp failed, reason given by server: No
