[Patch] Drop Frames in Cortado
...----- Hash: SHA1 The attached patch allows frames to be dropped in Cortado: Why: Currently, frames cannot truly be dropped in Cortado. If the decoded YUV arrives too late at the videosink, it will not be converted to RGB, but every frame must still be decoded. On slow systems, once the queue of undecoded Theora packets fills up, the video decoder will block the ogg demuxer, with the result that audio will not be decoded in real time. Once the audio gets sufficiently late, it is rejected by the audio sink, resulting in the appearance of a total lockup. In fact, both video and audio are being decode...

signedness
Hi, I need another clarification regarding the standard. In floor0 header decode (setup), the point no.7 says that if any of [floor0_order], [floor0_rate], [floor0_bark_map_size], floor0_amplitude_bits], [floor0_amplitude_offset] or [floor0_number_of_books] are less than zero, the stream is not decodable But as we see, all those values are read as unsigned integers. Now I'm not able to

IAX NOTICE and WARNING messages
Hello, Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday! We setup two asterisk servers (From CVS on Wednesday) and set up IAX between the two. Right now they both reside on a switch with a static 192.168.0.x IP address. The first Server is .5 and the second is .30. Our dialplan seems to be working, however on the console we get a flurry of NOTICE and WARNING messages. NOTICE[1116941120]: File

AW: packets and OGG pages
Ralph, thanks for your help. >>Since the length of the precedent identification header is fixed, this even is a fixed offset >>into the logical ogg stream. >This will work for all the vorbis-only files I've seen (because no one >pads the first packet). online increase of zfs after LUN increase ?
Hello, There is a feature of zfs (autoexpand, or zpool online -e ) that it can consume the increased LUN immediately and increase the zpool size. That would be a very useful ( vital ) feature in enterprise environment. Though when I tried to use it, it did not work. LUN expanded and visible in format, but zpool did not increase. I found a bug SUNBUG:6430818 (Solaris Does Not Automatically

Xapian-Haystack is available in Python 3
Hi, I'm the current developer of Xapian-Haystack, and I'm glad to announce that we've been finally able to install and pass all the tests of Xapian-Haystack with Xapian 1.3.3 in both Python 2 and 3, which means that Xapian-Haystack now supports Python 3. This naturally would not be possible without your efforts to push Xapian bindings to Python 3, and I thank you for that. Here I

Xiph Magic
Hi Folks, FWIW I figured out the /etc/magic file entries for both native and Ogg wrappered Speex, Vorbis and FLAC (attached). YMMV because the fields aren't necessarily in fixed positions in the files, but it works fine for me. Feel free to include it in the Xiph archives or forward it to the /etc/magic file maintainer once you're satisfied with it. John -------------- next part

Sieve matching the raw body
...t; { if body :contains "</head>" { All three result in matching value `' with key `</head>' => 0 finishing match with result: not matched RFC 5173 says: 5.1. Which seems like exactly what I want. :content does not seem like what I want since it appears to only match the non HTML code content of the mime part. Eventually what I want to do is to alert some of the code in the HTML portion the email. Failing that, t...

autoconf problem fixex, now other probs...
Hi there. I mentioned in my before postings that I had compile errors because of some automake incompatiblity. Now after installing redhat 8 these are fixed, and the ogg directory compiled fine, but vorbis gave me an error while it wanted to make a pdf file. (!! Why the hell would a make want to create a pdf?!?) These are some parts of the error log as the whole is too long: ... cp

mapping mux vector question
Hello everybody According to "vorbis-spec-ref.html" paragraph: "mappings", the vector [vorbis_mapping_mux] should contain the following: 4. if [vorbis_mapping_submaps] is greater than one, we read channel multiplex settings. For each [j] of [audio_channels] channels: 1. vector [vorbis_mapping_mux] element [j] = read 4 bits as unsigned integer 2. if the value

Vorbis spec bugs
Hi there ! I'm kinda "yet another guy who tries to implement a vorbis decoder from scratch only by using the vorbis spec". (pure Java, OO-style) (I downloaded the long-awaited-all-in-one-PDF) The data structures are quite ready, I can successfully load the codec setup packet and all its components it's containing. <p><p>So far so good.... Here's my first note

Error in floor0 decode specification
Hello, It seems there is an error in the algorithm for floor0 decode in section 6.2.2 of the Vorbis specification. Here's the relevant part: 3 3) [coefficients] is an empty, zero length vector 4 4) [booknumber] = read an unsigned integer of ilog( [floor0_number_of_books] ) bits 5 5) if ( [booknumber] is greater than the highest number decode codebook ) then

Query on Codewords length
Hi, We are porting the Ogg Vorbis fixed point decoder to a 24 bit fixed point precision processor. We are trying to reduce the number of cycles for MIPS optimization. In this process we observed that most of the songs do not have "maximum codeword length" greater than 24 bits. We are planning to reduce most of the double word operations (in our case 32 bit data is stored as double

Asterisk SIP Packet Time (20ms)
Hi, I have a question regarding the Asterisk Packet Time for SIP Calls. It is hardcoded at 20ms but when I do an RTP Analysis on a stream it is clear that these packets are not spaced out at 20ms. In general you see something like: Packet 50 - Delay 50ms Packet 51 - Delay 5ms Packet 52 - Delay 5ms Packet 53 - Delay 50ms Packet 54 - Delay 5ms Packet 55 - Delay 5ms Is there anyway to space
