[icecast] autoconf problem fixex, now other probs...
Hi there. I mentioned in my before postings that I had compile errors because of some automake incompatiblity. Now after installing redhat 8 these are fixed, and the ogg directory compiled fine, but vorbis gave me an error while it wanted to make a pdf file. (!! Why the hell would a make want to create a pdf?!?) These are some parts of the error log as the whole is too long: ... cp Vorbis_I_spec.fo spec.fo # work around a passivetex bug pdfxmltex --interaction nonstopmode spec.fo This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-14h-released-20010417 (Web2C 7.3.3.1) (./spec.fo{/usr/share/texmf/pdftex/config/pdftex.cfg} LaTeX2e <2000/06/01> Babel <v3.7h> and hyphenation patterns for american, french, german, ngerman, i talian, nohyphenation, loaded. xmltex version: 2000/09/07 v1.8y (Exp): (/usr/share/texmf/tex/xmltex/xmltex.cfg) No File: spec.cfg xmlns:fo = 5 <5:root (/usr/share/texmf/tex/xmltex/passivetex/fotex.xmt ... Transcript written on spec.log. make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/icecast/vorbis/doc' make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/icecast/vorbis/doc' This is confusing. Can you tell me why this error occours and how to fix it (maybe the developers have to fix it if its a bug)? As mentioned i followd the instructions on http://www.xiph.org/archives/icecast/2870.html. I am unsure if the first two compiles in ogg and vorbis are the same librarys as if i would install them from rpm (libogg and libvorbis)? In this case I don't need these two compiled, right? - or is it better to compile them(and thus get this error fixex) ?
