Forcing a sspecific stream type
...cecast to stream in a specific stream type,
such as OGG, regardless of the source or input? For example, if a
streaming client connects to an Icecast server with an MP3 format
stream, can Icecast be forced to send it out as OGG or AAC or anything
else? Or does Icecast simply pass the stream through unconverted?

= The legacy location of INBOXes has been /var/spool/mail/<userid>. The
docs appear to say that Maildir format INBOXes should be in ~/Maildir.
Q4:Can the INBOXes be in two location, the converted new Maildirs in ~,

cfg'ed INBOX location to be VSM until I get them all converted and then
move them all to ~/Maildir and change the DC config to that?

two possible inboxes, possible to check both?
...ck to see if /mail/<first letter of username>/username exists (indicating that the account has had the .converted file created and new mail has since been delivered to that user in the new maildir format). If this directory does not exist, it should fallback to retrieving mail from the as-yet unconverted mbox, /var/mail/username. We've tried different combinations of namespaces and default_mail_env values to achieve this without success. One attempt which has come particularly close was:
1. Leaving /etc/dovecot.conf almost entirely default. The auto-detection ability of dovecot performs the fo...

Case sensitive nightmare
...r for every case variation (domain.tld/foo/Maildir,
domain.tld/FOO/Maildir, etc.)
It would seem to me that the queries above would fail for the different
variations of the name but they don?t seem to. Is dovecot converting %u to
lower case for the query on the virtual users table but then using it
unconverted when looking up the Mairdir for the account? If the username
column has the value ?foo@domain.tld? how does SELECT * FROM table WHERE
username=?FOO@domain.tld? match the row?
Also puzzling is that I select a column named maildir which has the path to
the mailbox in it (using the correct case). Eve...

I thought more about it, I think the right thing
would be for unconverted transports to clear
high bits on ack and get features.
So bit 32 is set, but not exposed to guests.
In fact at least for PCI, we have a 32 bit field for
features in 0.9 so it's automatic.
Didn't check mmio yet.
