During FTS reindexing, search commands unceremoniously exit
Is this intentional? Closing the connection without warning doesn't
seem like the best response...

Indeed I am.
What now? Should PuTTY change its 'perfectly OK to unceremoniously
slam the connection shut when you're done' attitude?

We need to decide whether to promote these log messages to INFO.

I don't think they need to. I think it's fair that we log connections
that are terminated regardsless of how graceful the termination was.
E.g. why shouldn't we log connections that drop because the peer
process got...

running R in batch mode on Ubuntu
...g without the R
commands contained in the batch file actually having finished running.
We're running Bayesian models using R2jags jags.parallel and it ends
during the jags run, so it might be something funky with that package,
but am curious to know if the general issue of R process ending
unceremoniously is anything anyone has run into.
Thanks,

Teresa: I had trouble make this work with the delayed metadata parsing
(the logic around "SeenModuleValuesRecord"). My WIP patch rips that
out rather unceremoniously.
(Attached the patch for reference, but it needs to be cleaned up, split
up, etc.; not ready for review (although comments always welcome)).
My understanding from Mehdi is that maybe ThinLTO isn't currently
relying on the delayed parsing. I.e., the original scheme was:

Investment in the right people and a realisation that BPO requires

fatal: ssh_dispatch_run_fatal: Connection reset by peer [preauth]
Hello everybody,
I have systemd set up to listen on ssh socket (:::22), the connection is
handled to sshd via socket activation. Usually this works perfectly fine.
However the service is checked from nagios. Sometimes the host logs:
systemd[1]: Started OpenSSH Per-Connection Daemon ([::1]:60865).

pbinom gotcha (PR#1569)
...pbinom(0.58*n + 1e-7,n,0.6) + dbinom(0.58*n,n,0.6)
plot(n,Pr(n),type="b")
abline(h=1000/1001)
min(n[Pr(n)>1000/1001])
At least on Linux, you get quite different results.
The reason is of course that
> 0.58*6400-3712
[1] -4.547474e-13
and dbinom has a fuzz factor, but pbinom unceremoniously takes
floor(x). I suppose we ought to build the same fuzz into pbinom?
