Debugging a potential bug when generating wasm32
...#39;m currently trying to debug a bug in a LLVM-generated Wasm code. The bug could be in the code that generates LLVM (rustc) or in the LLVM, I'm not sure yet. LLVM IR and Wasm can be seen in [1]. The problem is this line: (import "GOT.func" "_ZN4core3fmt3num3imp52_$LT$impl$u20$core..fmt..Display$u20$for$u20$i32$GT$3fmt17h9ba9fea9cadf7bd5E" (global (;3;) (mut i32))) The same symbol is already imported from "env" in the same module: (import "env" "_ZN5core3fmt3num3imp52_$LT$impl$u20$core..fmt..Display$u20$for$u20$i32$GT$3fmt17h9ba9fea9ca...

SunFire X2100 bios dislikes ZFS''s EFI labels, too
Back in December, there was some discussion here about the Ultra 20''s bios being confused by the EFI labels ZFS uses. After seeing a report about the X2100 exhibiting the same behavior as the Ultra 20, I reproduced the problem and filed: 6407133 X2100 bios intimidated by ZFS-created EFI labels hopefully that bios will get fixed, too. - Bill

On my Linux installs, I allow for a 'local' account with user id 1000. That is the only local account and is used for installing the OS (or in case AD is down). All other user/group accounts are

Asterisk + NEC Electra Elite IPK Integration
Hi, I'm am currently in the process of trying to integrate an * box with an NEC Electra Elite IPK. Currently, we have 7 POTS lines coming into our building. These lines are plugged into our NEC using the appropriate analog line interface card from NEC. The NEC effectively has NO configuration done to it, other than to make all the internal phones ring when a call comes in. We also

ZFS Web administration interface
I don''t seem to have access to the web administration interface. It worked fine up to svn_B37, but B38 and B39 don''t appear to have it deployed. I can start the web console server "/usr/sbin/smcwebserver start" and log in as root but ZFS does not appear in the list of applications. Is there something additional I need to do? Speex support?
According to: http://www.speex.org/projects.html in the Player Plugins and Code Examples section, there are some libraries that allow media player, XMMS, etc to play speex. However I'm not sure if the format that they expect is the same format that icecast with Karl's modifications is currently producing. Past that, the dev branch of speex (1.1.6 currently) has a working adaptive

is this an appropiate use of icecast/libboost?
Hi guys, I'm writing an application that will sniff audio streams going across the network and allow a seperate client application to listen into one of these streams. I was looking into ways to distribute the captured stream media to a client for listening, and icecast came to mind. Icecast, as I understand it, is usually used for streaming a few data sources to MANY clients. As I want

questions on serving up streaming speex
Hi guys, I am working on an application that gathers and stores toll-quality/narrow-band voice data. It will allow clients to request this data and stream it to them on the fly. I'm planning on this data all being stored in the speex format (possibly encapsulated in an Ogg file header). I was wondering what method the members of this list would recommend for streaming the data to
