Kernel Panic in 4.8-STABLE

machine).
If additional information is required, please let me know. The file
that the kernel is generated from is a pretty generic copy of GENERIC
with IPFIREWALL compiled in.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad

I updated my Solaris 8 machines from openssh-2.3.0p1 to 2.5.1p1 yesterday and
it fixed the cron/audit issue but now root logins are no longer permitted. I
updated it to 2.5.1p2 this morning and that is still the case:

Spamassassin + Postfix : delete spam mail on the server ?
...ve documented the whole configuration here:
* https://blog.microlinux.fr/spamassassin-centos/
The problem with this setup is that spam mail is still delivered, and I
need Thunderbird's filters to weed out incoming mail. And when I'm using
my webmail (running SquirrelMail), my inbox is a tsunami of unread
[SPAM] messages.
So I'd like to go a step further and delete all messages flagged [SPAM]
directly on the server. It doesn't look like Spamassassin provides this
functionality.
Did any of you guys succeed in doing this anyway?
Cheers,
Niki

I gave FreeIPA a spin a while back. I installed it on a sandbox server,
and from what I recall, it pulled in a tsunami of dependencies, and
first thing it wanted to replace my Dnsmasq with BIND... so I didn't
look much further.

This is David Deutsch, and I'm the owner of VoiceConduits. There seems to be

VoiceConduits is currently NOT open for public business, we have never to

Plurals in English (was Re: ClamAV reports a trojan)
...od by many and as a
general rule of thumb...
tl;dr:
Words from Old English that came into modern English, use 'Old English'
pluralisation: eg, sheep, fish etc.
words adopted from other languages into English before and after modern
English established, use 'modern' pluralisation eg, tsunamis, octopuses.
<rant>
As 'virus' was adopted into English for usage in relation to bugs,
malwares etc. after the formation of modern English, the plural of
computer virus is computer viruses. IMO, in a medical sense, the virus
was first described in the 1890 - well after the formation...

Vsftpd vs. iptables firewall script
...> fixed those issues, then you can make it enforcing.
This is always my approach. Turns out the solution was rather simple
here. After switching SELinux to permissive mode and connecting to the
server, I did this:
# sealert -a /var/log/audit/audit.log
The problem here was that I got a small tsunami of suggestions. But in
the middle of this flood, I got a boolean to set, so on a hunch, I tried
that:
# setsebool -P ftpd_full_access 1
Turns out this solved all SELinux-related problems. So Vsftp works
perfectly now with my custom Iptables firewall *and* SELinux in
enforcing mode.

Music on Hold
Hi,
I have trouble getting MOH to work after an upgrade from asterisk 1.4 to

After trying several paths, some suggested on this list, here's my results.
1) Fixing a unbootable system wasn't practical in my
case. Fortunately, all my systems can be rebuilt from scratch.
2) When I was lucky enough to catch an updated system before reboot,
backing out the defective updates wasn't possible. Yum said there
were no prior versions.
3) The most reliable method I

client first, top down, outside in, etc with rails
I''m starting a new project and I want to try writing the client first. I.e. I want to write my ''views'' first and I would like to mock out all the models in such a way that I can run the site and browse it with the mocked out models. Is it easy to use rspec''s mocking for this sort of thing and has anyone done it before? Does anyone know of a tutorial out there

Postfix restrictions
Hi,
I'm currently fine-tuning my mail server (Postfix and Dovecot on CentOS 7).
SPF, DKIM and DMARC work fine, now I'd like to limit the spam tsunami.
Besides the official Postfix documentation, I've read a few articles about
Postfix spam restrictions, namely these :
https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/block-email-spam-postfix
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/postfix_restrictions
After some experimenting, here's what I currently have...
