ACM using TrueSpeech codec (acmStreamOpen())
Hi all, I and a few others are trying to implement
Yahoo voice chat under Linux. Since Yahoo uses
the TrueSpeech codec, we are trying to load the
TrueSpeech DLL directly under Linux. mplayer can
play TrueSpeech files already, and it appears that
it contains portions of Wine code to do so. But
mplayer cannot create TrueSpeech files as far as I
know.
We have ripped the relevant code out of mplayer

Hi,
I am trying to implement a web application that allows the user to playback
WAV files inside a web browser.

Background

- The file server stores audio files as GSM 6.10 or TrueSpeech encoded WAV
files.
- The web server (most probably ASP.NET on IIS) offers the client the
ability to search audio files on the file server (a different machine).
- The client will be equiped with internet explorer and a standard Media
Player plugin (preferably Windows Media Player or QuickTime)....
