Tinc Newbie question
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I'm trying to set up a
point-to-point VPN so that I can bridge networks securely (actually all
I want to get across is multicast, but that's a different issue
entirely).
Through looking through the documentation I've got everything set up as
I think it should.
my config files look like:

exclude a pattern but only in the top level
Consider the following directory structure
/foo/aaa/*/*
/foo/bbb/*/*
/foo/ccc/*/*
I want to sync all of /foo,
but exclude /foo/aaa
but not exclude any other occurances of "aaa" or "foo/aaa" (be they
files or dirs) that might occur within the other dirs /foo/bbb/*
/foo/ccc/* etc
I don't want to exclude /foo/bbb/aaa or /foo/ccc/111/aaa or
/foo/ccc/111/foo/aaa etc...

Problems copying some files from windows to linux
Hi,
This might not be entirely samba server related, but the problem I am

recommended list to reqest help - so hopefully someone might be able to
assist :-).
I am running a Debian Linux machine (kernel 2.6.0) with Samba 3.0.1

Alternative IP addresses
My CentOS-7 home server has a static IP address.
Is there a simple way of organizing the hpptd server
so that it is accessible through this address at a remote host,
but is accessed at its 192.168 address by a laptop on the WiFi LAN?

A gmane mystery
I've been collecting redhat.fedora from gmane for several years,

I was able to post to gmane.test, and could read these posts.
So I assume there is no problem with my From: or other headers.
I take it that the gmane.linux.centos.general is in fact
