What is my replication unit? Lmer for binary longitudinal data with blocks and two treaments.
...umberto PS: I would like to say that posted kind of the similar post before but addressing different questions. I deleted the previous post to avoid confusion -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/What-is-my-replication-unit--Lmer-for-binary-longitudinal-data-with-blocks-and-two-treaments.-tp18304494p18304494.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

How to deal with error messages passed as Early Media
...io message using Early Media. At the same time, I'm also trunking with Contact Center solution which doesn't support Early Media. Beside asking my ITSP to treat calls consistently or ask Contact Centerto support Early Media, is there a way to configure Asterisk to unify both above error treaments into a single one ? How can I best deal with error messages passed as Early Media. Best regards -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... propensity score adjustment using R
Hi all, i am looking to built a simple example of a very basic propensity score adjustment, just using the estimated propensity scores as inverse probability weights (respectively 1-estimated weights for the non-treated). As far as i understood, MLE predictions of a logit model can directly be used as to estimates of the propensity score. I already considered the twang package and the

Remarking non conformant packets as AF13 from AF11
Hi, I am trying to implement a simple scaled-down version of the AF traffic class type. As such I basically want to remark non-conforming AF11 packets to AF13. Here is m script that I have been using on the ingress router of my network: ---------------------------------------- Link=''dev eth1'' Rate1=''rate 800Kbit'' Rate2=''rate 2500Kbit''

Repost: Estimation when interaction is present: How do I get get the parameters from nlme?
Gday, This is a repost since I only had one direct reply and I remain mystified- This may be stupidity on my part but it may not be so simple. In brief, my problem is I'm not sure how to extract parameter values/effect sizes from a nonlinear regression model with a significant interaction term. My data sets are dose response curves (force and dose) for muscle that also have two

Split-split plot ANOVA
Does someone out there have an example of R-code for a split-split plot ANOVA using aov or another function? The design is not balanced. I never set up one in R before and it would be nice to see an example before I tackle a very complex design I have to model. Thanks, Mike Mike Saunders Research Assistant Forest Ecosystem Research Program Department of Forest Ecosystem Sciences University of

interaction terms in regression analysis
G'day, My problem is I'm not sure how to extract effect sizes from a nonlinear regression model with a significant interaction term. My data sets are multiple measurements of force response to an agonist with two superimposed treatments each having two levels. This is very similar to the Ludbrook example in Venables and Ripley. The experiment is that a muscle is exposed to an agonist

how to analysis this kind of data set?
hi,everybody I have a *time course* data set about a CML cell line treated by two drugs and their combination. The experiment was performed on cDNA microarray platform. The green channel of all the arrays are common, the untreated cell. Here follows the experiment design: a_0hr,a_3hr,a_8hr,a_12hr,a_24hr,a_48hr,a_72hr, b_3hr,b_8hr,b_12hr,b_24hr,b_48hr,b_72hr,

Wrapper of linearHypothesis (car) for post-hoc of repeated measures ANOVA
For some time I have been looking for a convenient way of performing post-hoc analysis to Repeated Measures ANOVA, that would be acceptable if sphericity is violated (i.e. leaving aside post-hoc to lme models). The best solution I found was John Fox's proposal to similar requests in R-help: http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/e2/help/07/09/26518.html
