Samba and SuSE 9.1?
Hi everyone, I have so many problems with samba on one PC with SuSE 9.1 on. This PC is on a local area network with another PC with SuSE 9.0 on it with a working samba connection, and some windows clients. My 9.1 PC has an ASUS P4S800 motherboard and I use the integrated Asustek sis900 ethernet lan configured as eth0 with the sis900 module. Static IP and static gateway (the SuSE 9.0 machine).

Subject: Passing DID to external number?
For the DID's the easiest way for you to trasmit the incoming DID is to create custom extensions for the external numbers that access the external trunk directly. (e.g. they should NOT go to Loca/xxxx. or it will not retain the orignal CID in freepbx- which is effectively how it is being sent when you put xxxxx# in the ring list). As far as why it is only ringing one of your external numbers,

Rsync connection times out on very large --files-from
I've been trying to rsync a very large list of files specified by --files-from to an rsync daemon and couldn't really figure out why it wasn't working, but I think I finally understand the error. I log the call records to both the Master.csv and MySQL. The problem is that when an incoming call from the ISDN line is logged to the CDR, the "src" and the "clid" field show up as something like

POP secure access??
Hi, I'm looking for a solution to access pop mails (sendmail in linux) securely. Most of the access would be from window clients (outlook express etc). Is there a way to encrypt the password (like ssh2) when authenticating with sendmail? Any info is greatly appereceiated. Thx. Regards, Wong.

QoS in wireless networks

The idea is to implement differentiated services so that VoIP traffic gets the maximal priority, then video, control traffic, interactive data traffic and best-effort traffic. I have seen that CBQ used to be chosen as qdisc for implementing bandwith share in DiffServ but now HTB is preferred because it is
