Asterisk parking hold and transferdigittimeout
Hi,
anyone out there with the same problems and a possible solution to the
following?
The functions callparking and hold use the same transferdigittimeout in
features.conf.
While I think 3 to 5 seconds are enough to let the user "find" their keys on
the phone,
the double ammount of time ( 2 x 5 secs) you have to wait before a call is
parked and
the parkposition is announced, is really too long.
Did I miss something in the documentation?

Transfer feature dialing out after one digit
...ting it was
working fine, but I changed something in features.conf and suddenly any
time I hit transfer (*2), I can only enter one digit before asterisk
immediately tries to dial that extension.
Features.conf is extremely barebones so I'm not sure where any problems
would come up:

atxfer => *2
Tried change transferdigittimeout to something insanely long like 100,
but still the same thing. I even fully restarted asterisk (just in case
it was some weird fluke that crept in).
This is 1.6.2.17.2. Someone else po...

#Transfer - Timeout is configurable?
Hi guys,
This should be has an easy answer for you, my users are complaining
that when they press # and then ear gorgeous Allison "Transfer" the
timeout is very small, they must enter immediatly the extension to
transfer the call.
Is it possible to change this?
;transferdigittimeout => 3 ; Number of seconds to wait between
digits when transfering a call
This is timeout after pressing the first digit isn't it?

Transfering not working - how to debug?
I cannot seem to get any transfers to work at all. The console show I
have #1 amd #2 set up for Blind and Attended Transfer, but when I hit
these buttons on my handset nothing happens (other than I hear the dtmf
tones on the other end of the line).

Putting a call on hold
Hi,
How do I put a call on hold? If i press # the music on hold plays to
the other person, but asterisk asks for a number to transfer... I
don't want to transfer, I simply want to put the person on hold, so
he/she can hear the music while I do something, then get them off
hold. Is it possible?
The scenario: The person calls me from a SIP phone, and I receive the
call in a regular PSTN phone,
