Bug#776742: xen-utils-common: no support for VGA Passthrough
...upstream qemu-xen device model until Sep 25,
2015, the
date the xl.cfg man page was updated to indicate support for VGA passthrough
with upstream qemu-xen. This change to the xl.cfg man page was only made
on the
Xen version 4.7 and 4.8 branches, so if you want to use VGA passthrough
without
the traditional qemu-dm binary, you must upgrade to at least Xen version
4.7.
Debian testing (currently stretch) uses Xen 4.8 and it presumably
supports VGA
passthrough without qemu-xen-traditional but I have not tried it.
This situation leaves users of Debian stable (currently Jessie) with no
supported solutio...

Traditional Chinese.

No need to do that. The Chinese language I used to translate CentOS
stuff was Traditional Chinese, which is readable to all Chinese people.
The history of Simplified Chinese is less than 50 years and it is only
used in Chinese mainland, while Traditional Ch...

flash transfer problem in asterisk integration with old PBX
I've tried to transfer a call using the Flash command, but with my
configuration it doesn't work.
I have a traditional PBX connected with a zap channel to Asterisk that acts
like an IVR:
TELCO line --> traditional PBX (FXS) --> (FXO) Asterisk
>From the TELCO line I can make a call to the traditional PBX and reach
Asterisk, the IVR system on Asterisk answers the call and I can dial an

At least 2 acked patches were not committed to qemu-traditional before
the RC1 freeze & tag.
The above patch (against qemu-traditional - qemu-upstream is OK) was
acked a couple of days before Friday''s RC1 code freeze, but it still
remains uncommitted. This patch appears to be needed to build
successfully on Ubuntu Server 13.04, as I was unable to...

still possible to use traditional bridge network setup ?
Hi,
i'm currently installing a SLES 12 64bit system. libvirt-client-1.2.5-13.3.x86_64 and libvirt-daemon-1.2.5-13.3.x86_64.
Formerly I created my vm's (KVM) using a traditional bridge in my host systems, mostly SLES 11 SP3.
But with SLES 12 I don't succeed. I can use the macvtap device in the host, but I like to be able to communicate between host and guest.
Is the traditional bridge setup not any longer available ?

simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese translation for R manuals
Hi, every one,
I have translated <An Introduction to R > into simplified Chinese and
traditional Chinese. You can browse them from these two URL:
simplified Chinese:

traditional Chinese: http://www.biosino.org/pages/newhtm/r/tchtml/
I have distributed these document in HTML format. That is because there is

R 2.4.1 on Windows XP.
Question: In traditional graphics, is it possible to find out
the height of a line of text in units that can be used in
arithmetic and then in calls to text()?
Context: I have written a function that draws a plot and then,
depending on whether some arguments are TRUE or FALSE, draws
various lines of text in the plot. Th...

Which QEMU device-model to use for Windows HVM guests???
Just wondering about which QEMU version to use. Looking in the xl.cfg
MAN page, you can choose from "qemu-xen-traditional" or "qemu-xen",
however i have seen a third one "qemu-dm" WHICH is not listed in the
xl.cfg man page.
I know the "qemu-xen-traditional" device-model is the default one as it
is more stable, compatible and so forth. The "qemu-xen" is the qemu

From what I gather, for now, you MUST select a non-default model, using
something like:
device_model_version="qemu-xen"
device_model_override="/usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64"

[LLVMdev] Traditional Dataflow Algorithm
Is there a traditional dataflow algorithm buried in LLVM somewhere? I
need to be able to do some very late transformations (after regalloc)
and we aren't in SSA anymore. I will need a dataflow analysis to ensure
correctness.
At one point I thought I remembered seeing a generic fixed-point
dataflow analysis engine...
