maybe OT: Samba + .ps2printdriver + maschine torn down
we have performance problems with printing with cups/samba we use samba 2.2.1a on this (print)server (sideproblem: the authentication to another samba 2.2.0a (file)server seems to be broken) first the printer's print postscript and we left it to cups (or ghostscript) to render the appropriate printerdriver. but this really torn down the maschine. now we have the drivers installed on the

[PATCH] x86/mm: fix invalid unlinking of nested p2m tables
Commit 90805dc (c/s 26387:4056e5a3d815) ("EPT: Make ept data stucture or operations neutral") makes nested p2m tables be unlinked from the host p2m table before their destruction (in p2m_teardown_nestedp2m). However, by this time the host p2m table has already been torn down, leading to a possible race condition where another allocation between the two kinds of table being torn down can

Shutdown hangs on "Unmounting NFS filesystems"
Once the system gets into this state, the only remedy is a forced power-off. What seems to be happening is that an NFS filesystem that auto-mounted over a WiFi connection cannot be unmounted because the WiFi connection is enabled only for my login and gets torn down when my UID is logged off. Any suggestions on how I can configure things to avoid this? I really don't want to expose my WPA2

Vertical
Hi all. I'm in the process of configuring a phone system for my family and friends. I'm wondering if I should try to implement the "Vertical Services" (http://www.nanpa.com/number_resource_info/vsc_assign) in the Asterisk dialplan, or if I should delegate those functions to the various ATA's. For example, the Sipura SPA 2002 can handle*69 internally. On the other

G729/MOH Quality
Does anyone have any opinions on the music on hold quality over G729? The stock files seem to sound terrible over it, this is enhanced further by calls coming from the PSTN via a Zaptel gateway. I am only using the stock wav files and have not attempted to use much else so far. I've ruled out timing issues on the system generating the MOH itself (ztdummy on the PBX itself, our Zaptel gateway

Which is better? Microsoft Exchange 2016 or Linux-based SMTP Servers?
Good evening from Singapore, I am torn between deploying Microsoft Exchange 2016 and Linux-based SMTP servers like sendmail, postfix, qmail and exim. Relative ease of installation and configuration is an important consideration factor. Microsoft Exchange 2016, Domain Controller, and Active Directory are relatively easy to install and configure. Linux-based SMTP servers are extremely difficult

[VTD][PATCH] Change xc_assign_device()
Currently we assign devices with VT-d in Xend, this raises two issues: 1) assign devices regardless of they are hidden by pciback or not. If the device is not hidden, it results in the device doesn''t work in Dom0; 2) device is assigned one by one, if assign multiple devices, some devices may have been assigned when problem happens, it results in assigned devices don''t work in

Manager connection problems
I am wondering how many and how often manager connections can be setup and torn down reasonably. here is the scenerio... I have 10 to 20 agents on two queues one with priority over the other I changed this the day before I also implemented a php program that runs every 8 seconds on an automatic refresh It establishes a connection to asterisk and runs a mysql query to update the database

Wierd question - Give me your opinion please
Client - Not for Profit in the Middle of the Jungle/Rain Forrest Infrastructure - Datacenter is Non Climate Controlled, Prone to Flooding, and has Sketchy Power, LAN - NEW Cabling in main Office building, Hodge Podge of DYI wiring across remaining buildings. Phones - Total of about 50 extensions. Only about 25 - 30 phones will be IP phones, 20-30 more will have to be analog due to the distance.

question on nbdkit shutdown behavior
I'm observing a difference in timing on nbdkit shutdown that is dependent on client behavior, and I wonder if that's a bug, but I can't figure out where to patch it. When there is no connection present, sending SIGINT to nbdkit terminates immediately. If, on the other hand, there is a single client currently connected, the termination behavior on SIGINT depends on what the client has

Can Ruby and PHP play nice together?
I''m busy trying to bang out a new version of the website for my fantasy baseball league (www.ibl.org) and I''m torn as to what to do. I''m a PHP coder by day (Zend Certified and everything) but like Rails too. Now, the site is morphing into a "blog plus tools for league members" site. A lot of those tools are already written in PHP and I don''t want

SV: How to detect SpeexBits corruption
I was curious if you had ever peeked at a Teamspeak voice packet? I already have large chunks of the protocol torn apart. I believe the voice packets are the last big hurdle. As I know nothing about speex encoding, it is proving difficult to figure out the start of the actual voice data and/or any voice specific state data contained within the packet. If you have any information and are

[LLVMdev] Location of cppeh outlining tests
Hi Reid, It occurs to me that we should probably move the cppeh outlining tests, since they aren't actually X86-specific. We should probably also add an ARM+Windows run line to them. I'm torn between whether they should go in the test/CodeGen/CPP folder or in a new test/CodeGen/Win (or test/CodeGen/WinEH) folder. Thoughts? -Andy -------------- next part -------------- An HTML
