maybe OT: Samba + .ps2printdriver + maschine torn down
...th printing with cups/samba we use samba 2.2.1a on this (print)server (sideproblem: the authentication to another samba 2.2.0a (file)server seems to be broken) first the printer's print postscript and we left it to cups (or ghostscript) to render the appropriate printerdriver. but this really torn down the maschine. now we have the drivers installed on the client and the printserver only takes the raw data and pushes it to the printer. but the problem here is that it takes so much time for each sheet of paper, for a 11 pages document it takes up to 5 minutes to come out. the printer is a...

[PATCH] x86/mm: fix invalid unlinking of nested p2m tables
Commit 90805dc (c/s 26387:4056e5a3d815) ("EPT: Make ept data stucture or operations neutral") makes nested p2m tables be unlinked from the host p2m table before their destruction (in p2m_teardown_nestedp2m). However, by this time the host p2m table has already been torn down, leading to a possible race condition where another allocation between the two kinds of table being torn down can lead to a linked list assertion with debug=y builds or memory corruption on debug=n ones. Fix by swapping the order the two kinds of table are torn down in. While at it, remove th...

Shutdown hangs on "Unmounting NFS filesystems"
Once the system gets into this state, the only remedy is a forced power-off. What seems to be happening is that an NFS filesystem that auto-mounted over a WiFi connection cannot be unmounted because the WiFi connection is enabled only for my login and gets torn down when my UID is logged off. Any suggestions on how I can configure things to avoid this? I really don't want to expose my WPA2 key by making the connection available to all users. -- Bob Nichols "NOSPAM" is really part of my email address. Do NOT delete it...

G729/MOH Quality
...ummy on the PBX itself, our Zaptel gateway is a separate Asterisk server). There is no transcoding going on in the middle except via our Zaptel/T1 gateway. When using G711 it sounds fine of course, but this doesn't work well for remote sites with lower bandwidth connections. As of now, I'm torn between getting complaints from end users about the music or killing it entirely (leaving people waiting in queues with dead silence).

Which is better? Microsoft Exchange 2016 or Linux-based SMTP Servers?
Good evening from Singapore, I am torn between deploying Microsoft Exchange 2016 and Linux-based SMTP servers like sendmail, postfix, qmail and exim. Relative ease of installation and configuration is an important consideration factor. Microsoft Exchange 2016, Domain Controller, and Active Directory are relatively easy to install and...

[VTD][PATCH] Change xc_assign_device()
Currently we assign devices with VT-d in Xend, this raises two issues: 1) assign devices regardless of they are hidden by pciback or not. If the device is not hidden, it results in the device doesn''t work in Dom0; 2) device is assigned one by one, if assign multiple devices, some devices may have been assigned when problem happens, it results in assigned devices don''t work in

Can Ruby and PHP play nice together?
I''m busy trying to bang out a new version of the website for my fantasy baseball league (www.ibl.org) and I''m torn as to what to do. I''m a PHP coder by day (Zend Certified and everything) but like Rails too. Now, the site is morphing into a "blog plus tools for league members" site. A lot of those tools are already written in PHP and I don''t want to rewrite them to work with Ra...

SV: How to detect SpeexBits corruption
I was curious if you had ever peeked at a Teamspeak voice packet? I already have large chunks of the protocol torn apart. I believe the voice packets are the last big hurdle. As I know nothing about speex encoding, it is proving difficult to figure out the start of the actual voice data and/or any voice specific state data contained within the packet. If you have any information and are willing to share, I...

[LLVMdev] Location of cppeh outlining tests
Hi Reid, It occurs to me that we should probably move the cppeh outlining tests, since they aren't actually X86-specific. We should probably also add an ARM+Windows run line to them. I'm torn between whether they should go in the test/CodeGen/CPP folder or in a new test/CodeGen/Win (or test/CodeGen/WinEH) folder. Thoughts? -Andy -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/attachments/20150303/afcde927/at...
