Finding multiple characters in the same string
Hi
I have this problem where I need to find if there is any numbers in a
string, this is no problem if theres only one number per string. I would
then simply use the regexpr() funtion togheter with the substring function
to extract the number. But regexpr only picks one number per string either
from the beginning or the end, but not multiple. Can this be done? And how
for example
My string <- "this1is2a3test"
The result I want is an vector of c(1,2,3)

2.) if i have a vector of values how can i create a function that, applied
to my vector, give me "median", "mean", "Var" and "length" togheter?
3.)Find the minimum of this function:

biplot & identify
Hi!
Is there a way to get biplot and identify to work togheter.
Having the output of prcomp I would like to draw a biplot that.
Instead of plotting the sample (row-names) names plots some "pch" symbols. (thats easy with xlabs)
But now I would like to add using identify the names to only some of the points. I have noticed that both biplot.prcomp and...

Multiple caller id ...
If I have the following in the dialplan
exten => foo,n,Dial(SIP/1234&Zap/G1c/55443322)
and SIP/5432 calls this extension,
is it possible to show different callerid numbers to each of the target
numbers ?
The reason I ask is that if the call is from an internal sip phone, I
want to show the internal callerid (5432) to the SIP phone on 1234, and
the DDI of the 5432 extension

login and WinNT
Hello!
I was wondering if it's possible to make Windows NT and Samba 3 work
togheter. I found an old question with the same problem I have.
Samba 3 is not authenticating WinNT machines. My smb.conf is:

workgroup = DESQ-TESTE
server string = Teste (Samba %v)
interfaces = 143.106.19.25/255.255.255.192, 127.
bind interfaces only = Yes
encrypt passwords = No

Unpredictables Hangups
..._pri_error): PRI: Read on 37
failed: Unknown error 500"
I receive a lot of these errors in asterisk/messages.
It doesn't seem to be strictly linked to hangups, since i have dozen of
these messages per minute and i have completely random hangups on lines.
Moreover, lines don't fall togheter (eg i don't see channels restart nor all
phone calls are hungup in the same moment).
I'm using stable asterisk 1.0, with correspondant libpri and zaptel, and all
phones are Snom 105 SIP Phones. Hangups happen only if i use Zap lines, when
i use phones for internal calls all goes fine....

Managesieve daemon
Hello,
some time ago there was dicussion on the list about development of a
managesieve daemon to allow users to manage their own scripts.
After putting the pieces togheter and having sieve working in the lda
with Dovecot I solved the management issue by using Horde's Ingo + FTP
to manage scripts for virtual users. This is quite ugly (technically
speaking) but works and it is integrated with my webmail system (which
is quite nice).
Is anyone actively working on t...

Connecting a UMTS module via USB to asterisk

the sim very easily.
I connect the module via USB and as i said i use AT commands (under Linux i
use Minicom, under Windows you could use Hyperterminal to do such a thing).
Recently i've been using Asterisk too and i was wondering if there was a way
to make these two thing work togheter!
So the scenario would be:
Phone (of any kind) ------> "usb modem that can handle phone calls" ------>
asterisk --------> softphone on a pc
Normally i use a ISDN card instead of the second block of my scenario and
everything goes fine but now i'd like to try this wireless...

Samba + e2compr = problems?
...nd so this could limit the memory available to the TCP/IP
stack of the server in case you're saving big files simultaneously. One
possibility I'm considering is turning off compression in my home
directory and try to do the same tests again.
Does anybody in the list uses Samba and e2compr togheter? I'm
running Red Hat 6.0 w/latest patches, Samba 2.0.6 prebuilt RPM, 2.2.13
vanilla-customized kernel with latest e2compr patch. I'm running this
stuff in a NetFinity 3500 server, with a Mylex PCI RAID controller.
Thanks for any help,

linux bridging problem: how to emulate 2 separate interfaces on a single one?
Hi all.
I would need to use a single physical interface on a Linux box to manage
two different IP addresses (belonging to two separate logical subnets)
with two different MAC address. (I need to emulate te presence of two
separate physical interfaceses for a PC on the same LAN, at layer 2 and
layer 3).
Is it possible to use the linux ethernet bridging code and two tap
interfaces for this
