IAX crackilng
...onnection goes like this... Mitel SIP phone to Asterisk A, IAX trunked to Asterisk B and then T-1 to a PBX, the calls are internal so they are terminating on Toshiba digital phones. Loud crackling even happens from time to time when a Mitel SIP phone is connected to Asterisk B at that location over thye LAN with no layer three routing, but it is consistent on the IAX trunk. There is a lot of Data traffic, but thus should work regardless, I don't think the ping times are the issue. Ctrl Alt +/-
I guess my CentOS is screwed up because that function doesn't work. Only way to resize it was to go into the menu areas and set it there. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Warning when compiling nmbd_incomingdgrams.c
I just downloaded samba-1.9.18p3.tar.gz and compiled it on a DEC 3000/300 running OSF/1 v3.0 (uname -mrsv gives: "OSF1 V3.0 347 alpha") using the built-in cc compiler. The compiler gives the following warning: Compiling nmbd_incomingdgrams.c /usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/cfe: Warning: nmbd_incomingdgrams.c, line 452: Unknown character \ ignored ((DEBUGLEVEL>=(5))?(Debug1

Thanks
Thanks for the help guys. To resize my screen I had to go through the GUI part and change it but unlike Microsoft it makes me reboot in order for it to take affect which sucks. The Ctrl Alt +/- does not work. As for adding a printer someone finally gave me the link to the correct document which showed how to do it. I received a link where you can download the CentOS manual in PDF format:

Enquiry on Vrtest
Hi there, I am currently working on my dissertation which is about testing the martingale hypothesis in the stock market using a methodology involving a range of variance ratio tests and multiple variance ratio tests. I contacted the author of a reference paper and I was told that the tests can be conducted using R programming language. Although I have gone through the theoretical background of

SIP tunnel
Hello, I have the following situation: A firewall is blocking all SIP and RTP traffic in the side of some of my clients. My clients cannot change settings of the firewall. I need to solve this problem and I need some help from you. I have this idea: implement a SIP user agent which does not use well known SIP ports (uses http port 80 for example) and use other ports that are not blocked

Default password hash
We still have MD5 as our default password hash, even though known-hash attacks against MD5 are relatively easy these days. We've supported SHA256 and SHA512 for many years now, so how about making SHA512 the default instead of MD5, like on most Linux distributions? Samba v3.0.23c + FreeBSD 6.1 - Failed to set servicePrincipalNames
Hello, We recently upgraded to the latest Samba3 version v3.0.23c. If the Samba system and the AD belong to the same domain, I am able to perform a 'net ads join' by supplying either a 'Domain Admins' or a 'Domain Users' credential. However if the Samba system and the AD belong to different domain, I can perform the 'net ads join' by supplying a 'Domain

Transferring results from R to MS Word
R-users At the moment I am teaching a course on the use of R for data analysis. Part of course requirements involves the transfer of results from R to something that resembles the APA (American Psychological Associations) type tables to MS Word. Until now I have used the HTML function in the R2HTML library, with a call like this: HTML(summary(model1), file("clipboard",
