Hi, we run a dovecot mail-server with about 50GB of e-mail and at the moment users are responsebil for macking ther own backup of e-mails. But I'd like to have also a backup of the mail, beckause not all users do ther backups ... We use mbox-format-mailboxes. Folks, I have installed puppet my network and it works great .. I have configured it such a way that when I make changes in the server source fiels..it gets updated in teh puppet clients. As the document reads the puppet clients checks for any changes from the server every 30 mins. But is there is any opiton of changing this value to lesser time .. say 15 mins .. or is there opiton for the puppet client to take effect immidietely. is ther any command that I can give from the puppet server. please help.. Hi... I have just installed Linux Slackare 9.1 with Gcc 3.2.... Then I decieded to try out Samba 3 insted of 2 wich I have been using for a while now... I did this when compiling... ./configure --prefix=/usr make Then when I checked the source/bin dir there was about 400mb of files there... It was the correct bin files but they were so huge that ther has to be something wrong.. Smbd was about 40mb... Anyone got some ideas on what I can do to make the files smaler? /Jonas

Some server are able to download the file at a higher b/w rate in one IDC ...while servers at he the other IDC download the same file at a lowe b/w rate . Is ther any tool to measure packet losses. Most of the computational intensive operations are identical if computing the function value and gradient. Question: is there a way to tweek optim that only one function evaluation is necessary? hi, i facing a problem here. in my sip.conf, i specify a account like this, [1234] type=friend context=from-sip username=1234 secret=1234 nat=no canreinvite=yes dtmfmode=info mailbox=1234@default disallow=all allow=ulaw so i am able to login with username 1234 and password 1234 but ther weird part is, i can also register as any number (account) without having to specify in sip.conf. thus anybody can just use my system to call others.. lets say i do have set that some certain account can make some certain calls only. how can i solve this problem? thank you.
