Unless there is a better way, I would do a
smbclient -L theNThost
and then grep the output for "Server time is"
If you get anything, you could use cut or PERL or whatever to strip off
the "Server time is" and then feed the date string into the date command.
This would work pretty easily as long as both machines are in the same
timezone.. If...
