[PATCH] xen init script: don't fail when being run in domU
When installing xen-utils-V in a driver domain domU, it drags in
xen-utils-common, which also contains the init script for xenstored and
xenconsoled.
Installing the package will fail right away, because it exits non-zero
after checking whether it's running in a xen dom0 or not:

Can''t stop/start lighttpd
...ck. Recently, I have built a server
running Debian Linux, with ruby 1.8.2, rails 1.0.0, lighty 1.4.3, and
Mysql 5.0.18. I used WeBrick to generate a lighttpd.conf file for me, I
changed the paths in the file to absolute paths. I''m not even sure is
all is working because I discovered thant when I start lighty then try
to restart the server, I get an error saying that the port that I?m
using is already in use. Here is my lighttpd.conf file:
server.port = 80
server.username = "www-data"
server.groupname = "www-data"

[LLVMdev] A Java version of LLVM Core for LLVM IR Analysis: JLLVM
...'s a java version of LLVM Core
for Java developers.
Our motivation is simple: The LLVM project is a great job. But it is
for C++ developers. *It's difficult for Java developers to analysis
LLVM IR*(intermediate
representation). So we build a project use Java to implement a LLVM Core so
thant we can analysis LLVM IR with Java and we name this project JLLVM.
The JLLVM project works well and we already implement two tools on it.
The core technique is ANTLR. We use ANTLR to recognize LLVM IR and
generate parser. And the Java class is organized as the official LLVM core
of C++ version...

Logwatch inconsistency
Hi all,
In my logwatch config I clearly state only too report on Yesterday.
The funny thing is that in the MailScanner section the number of mails
scanned is different thant th number reported in the postfix section to
be put on hold.
Ik I grep the Requeue statements in the MailScanner logfile this is
exactly the same number as the scan result of Hold in the postfix
logfile and is equal to the number reported by logwatch in the
MailScanner section.
How come postfix rep...

Snom Phones Volume
Good Day List,
I have several different SIP Phones running on my asterisk box.
I have recently purchased a snom 190 and a snom 220.
They work great, EXCEPT I have to have the volume turned all the
way up in order to hear the conversation on the other end.
All the other phones Zultys 4x5, 4x4, 2x2, Cisco 7960, Wooksung
2000... all behave fine and volume is set to middle of the range and I

Draggables causing text to be selected... solution?
Hi, it''s me again. Ok, so I''m using the Draggable class, and it''s great.
However, dragging something often causes undesirable selecting of text
on the page while performing the drag operation. Is there a way to
prevent this?

Ajax.Autocompleter - multiple inputs
Hi there,
I''m new to Rubi On Rails so I could not follow the discussions in the
mailings. I tryed to search in the history of the list but not found what
I''m looking for (Am I wrong ? - Probably !)
So, I wolud like to have more thant on (3 actually) autocompleate lists
and the values in the second (ande else) depends on the value previously
selected in an input. I tryed to put it in the parameter option but
without success (probaly not accessing at the right moment the value of
the previous input - so in my PHP script I always...

Problems when migrating from an old machine to a new one.
...ight permissions, and I get all the files at the right place.
The problem concerns the profiles I got from the old machine.
On the old machine, they were stored in /home/user/profile.
I've seen in different newsgroups that this is not a good idea and that they
should be stored in anywhere else thant in the user's home directory. So I
created a new directory on the new machine, /home/profile in which I copied
every profile in any directory as there are users (/home/profile/user).
I've checked permissions, they are ok.
Now, in the ldap directory, I've made for sure that every user...

Failed to modify entry for user in samba with tdb backend
...r
Failed to delete entry for user olduser.
I tried using tdbtool
# tdbtool /var/lib/samba/passdb.tdb check Database integrity is OK and
has 570 records.
I checked the keys length, I made a tiny perl script that checked all the
output of tdbtool keys to see if one entry had different keys thant it
should, but I see no mistakes there:
key 9 bytes: USER_old
I'm stuck, any hint would be appreciated, thank you.

xm, no such domain error code...
Right now xm will return 1 if you run `xm list non_existant_domain`
Wouldnt it be a better idea to have a specific error code for this error so
that scripts wrapping around xm can better determine if the domain does not
exist or if xm just failed for whatever reason?

Problem in sftp 'ls' command output
...+;
}
--------
What it boils down is that column width and spacing are computed on
filenames, but we print path + filename. So column width is wrong on
almost all cases.
Here is a short patch. Warning : I assumed path and strip_path are never
NULL and that strip_path is never "bigger" thant path. So I did NO
control. This may be a little rough... I bet there are some better ways
out, if this is really an error and not a misunderstanding on my part.
