Setting Number of Displayed Digits
Some chemicals have concentrations at or below the method detection limit (MDL; 'less-thans') of 0.005 mg/L. When I look at the data frame that is how the concentration is displayed. But, when I ask for a summary() of that data frame column only 0 is displayed. How can I adjust the number of digits displayed by functions such as summary()? Rich

tc on a PDA

Different way of scaling data
Hi, I have a data.frame that I need to scale. I've been using the scale function and it works nicely. Some of the libraries I'm testing won't accept negative values for data, so I need to find a way to scale the data from 0 to 1 Any ideas? Thans!

can't connect ldapsearch with samba 4
...external application and work OK and seems correctly configured I have tried to run ldapsearch with ssl and without but always receive errors. Using ldapadmin client I can connect with gssapi with port 389, but with ldapsearch I can't work... how can I query samba 4 AD ldap with ldapsearch? Thanks

virtio drivers for Centos 5.8
...um update, many many packages BTW. I shutdown the guest, change its "Disk bus" from IDE to Virtio and then upon boot, I get kernel panics as no disk can be found. I do get the splash screen at first however. My guest has /dev/hda, should I change its fstab to reflect /dev/vda instead? Thans in advance, - aurf

Migration won''t rollback to specific version?
...ted the schema_info table, thinking that Rails would re-create and start at migration 001, but it behaved the same way. What am I missing?
