Patch details are available here: http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/rpms/compiz/devel terminate-move.patch restart.patch These are already upstream, but not yet in a released version. aiglx-defaults.patch tfp-server-extension.patch These two paper over a problem in libGL by defaulting to indirect rendering and looking for tfp in the server extensions string. The upstream compiz approach of trying direct rendering first and then falling back to indirect if direct doesn't support tfp should work....

Hi, I have a setup where the tftp server is inside the firewall. Now the issue is tftp client send request on dynamic udp port. Can anyone give some idea, how i can bind the fixed port for client udp requests ? Otherwise i hope, it is not a solution that i will open all port related to UDP in the firewall. Hi David, --use-cow seems to be quite stable on all variations of tfp (xgl, aiglx, nvidia), I think it was the plan to default-enable it. Do you think it's ready for that? We use pxelinux and tfp-ha for windows installation together with winpe 2005 under linux. It works and we are happy. But we have one problem because we want to add one more image for xp pro x64 too. Since there is already a ntdetect.com, NTLDR and winnt.sif in the /tftpboot root directory we can't add the 64 bit ones...

So, after patching beryl (cause he can work without tfp) to make it use direct rendering on "aiglx method" and removed check for GLX_SGIX_fbconfig, which fails. - I was able to run beryl on fglrx WITHOUT Xgl. Patch for mesa with a set of updates for EXT_tfp. Includes necessary FBConfig support, adds attrib_list to BindTexImage and fixes CreateDrawable so that glXCreatePixmap works. Hi, In fact, this bugged me a long time and now I'd finally like to have a solution: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8160 The issue is: compiz has now some fallback code to indirect rendering if direct doesn't work. But that's completely useless, because it'll fail some lines later, exactly here: glxExtensions = glXQueryExtensionsString (dpy, screenNum);
