Samba working (has been for years) but logs full of NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
...everybody but the logs are full of "NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED" messages So I turned logging a little higher and found out what shares/files are accessed when this happens. It, too, happens not to ALL users. [LLVMdev] An LLVM 1.3 Request
...be done incrementally to help out with this: 1. Make test/Programs be self contained, including not depending on makefiles in directories above it. 2. It should have its own (small) configure script, just like the other projects do. 3. It should "act" as if it were in llvm/projects/TestPrograms or something. Before the files are actually moved, this can be simulated with a symlink. Once these three are done, it should just be a matter of moving the CVS ,v files from llvm/test/Programs into llvm/projects/TestPrograms, and then into a seperate CVS module when that works goes well....

[LLVMdev] An LLVM 1.3 Request
Hi List, There is an outstanding bug, #257, pertaining to separating out the detailed testing infrastructure from the main LLVM code. I would like to see fixed in the 1.3 release time frame. The bug can be found here: http://llvm.cs.uiuc.edu/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=257 I would have taken this one and done the work necessary but unfortunately I don't have CVS rights and this is almost

Help for documentation
Hi, As some probably noticed, there are still many things missing in the Speex documentation. Given the limited amount of time I have right now, help would be really appreciated. I'm sure there are many people on this list that have successfully used Speex so far and that would be able to contribute to one part or another. Here are things that could be done: - Manual * Provide mode

Need help to get LCDHype flying with Parallel-Port
Hello together, i want to run LCDHype in Linux under wine, because there is no adequate other program that supports graphically LCD-Displays. I already opened a discussion in the forum of LCDHype (sorry - is in german language): http://lcdhype.condense.de/index.php?showtopic=4963 I already found an older version (V 0.6) of LCDHype that installs and the frontend is up and running. But now i am

[LLVMdev] using bugpoint to find miscompilation/code generation problems?
Sorry to ask about a documented use of bugpoint, but I am having trouble understanding what to do. I would like to be able to use bugpoint to simplify test cases, when the symptom is a run time difference in the testprogram behavior. That looks like what is described in the documentation as "miscompilation or perhaps code generation problems". There are examples in the LLVM doc showing

SIP/Console -> ISDN ticks
...moving the audio was fine. There are no IRQ conflicts, and just for the heck of it I have experimented with moving the card to another PCI slot, enabling/disabling APIC/ACPI in kernel, using version 1.4.0 and trunk software. I have also tried to load and unload the computer using hdparm and other testprograms, it does not affect the ticking or zttest results. zttool reports no IRQ misses. zttest results are normally 99.755 but occasionally (once 2-3 minutes) dips to 99.96 or worse (99.92). - using ztdummy for timing and then running zttest is all bad I have tried to adjust the clocks using adj_clock...

readline/termcap problems compiling Samba 3.5.0rc1 on CentOS 5.4 64-bit
Hi all When I try to compile 3.5.0rc1 on CentOS 5.4, I get the seemingly well know problem below Linking bin/smbclient /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/4.1.2/../../../../lib64/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgetnum' /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/4.1.2/../../../../lib64/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgetent'

cross compiling configure errors
Hi all! I want to cross compile openssh to our own CPU and our embedded Linux platform, however I get at least the following errors when running configure: checking whether snprintf correctly terminates long strings... configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling checking whether getpgrp takes no argument... configure: error: cannot check getpgrp if cross compiling checking

Announce: OpenSSH 7.5 released
OpenSSH 7.5 has just been released. It will be available from the mirrors listed at http://www.openssh.com/ shortly. OpenSSH is a 100% complete SSH protocol 2.0 implementation and includes sftp client and server support. OpenSSH also includes transitional support for the legacy SSH 1.3 and 1.5 protocols that may be enabled at compile-time. Once again, we would like to thank the OpenSSH community

How is the Samba people stress testing Samba.
Over the years I have seen a number of strange integrity problems when using Samba servers, and I sometime wonder how Samba is stress tested. As long as a Samba server is used as a normal file server, we very seldom se any problems, but if heavily used, flat file databases are used, some versions of Samba are more stable then others. Even with oplocks disabled and strict locking enabled, we could
