Shared templates across controllers
Hey all,
Here''s my situation: I have a pair of controllers with associated
models (called Services and Testimonials) that are quite similar.
Because their CRUD behavior is executed via AJAX, the "templates" for
the actions are all short .rjs files. Now, because of the similarity
of the models, most of the templates are exactly the same, with only
the object names changed. That is, where one looks li...

Testimonial
I just switched my main "library" of over 100 mailboxes from UW-IMAP on a
gutless wonder with 600 BogoMIPS and 200 MB to a box with 2000 BogoMIPS and
1 GB, and also switched from UW-IMAP under RH7.2 to Dovecot under Fedora
Core 2. Using Mulberry on Win2k as the client, it used to take several
minutes to check for new mail in all folders. Now it takes just 2-3
seconds. Opening large

My testimonial about skuper viakgra
I am truly enjoying my rebirth. No more excuses, no more frustration,
no more having to solely satisfy my girlfriend orally.
I just pop 10 mg, and before long, I am a sex machine.
Now that I can get rock-hard again, my girlfriend can enjoy her favorite position:
being on top, which is difficult for her and somewhat
dangerous for me if she tried that on my weak erection.

My testimonial about skuper viakgra
I'm 48, and I can't believe I'm having the best of my life now thanks to
cliallis Soft Tabs. The best part is no longer worrying about whether I'll be
hard. With this stuff, I am always stiff, without fail.
You have to experiment with the dosage and time lag.
I started with 20 mg (good to rev my engine, I think)
but ultimately found that 10 mg about 15 minutes before is ideal

Asterisk success stories in small-medium office environments?
...ced. The price difference has
pretty much sold my superiors.
However, they're slightly wary of the whole open-source thing. They
have no way of knowing, for certain, that asterisk is production-quality
until they sign the check and find out.
I've been asked by my CTO and CEO to get some testimonials and/or case
studies of asterisk in production use in small office / small callcenter
environments. We'll be having a contractor configure an IVR, a call
center with queues, call detail reporting, and a dialplan for our two
inbound groups (our callcenter and our normal office traffic).
Does...

SMS Gateway .... for Rails app? (a bit OOT)
...ence would be globally.
Some of you would have used them and I''d really appreciate if you could
share your experience.
I''ve Googled and the problem isn''t that there is none, the problem is
that there are simply too many. Almost like looking for a webhosting. So
human :) testimonials would be very helpful here.
Any resources/links/pointers will be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

rsync anti-FUD
I'm working on a commercial project that would benefit immensely from
the use of rsync. However, I cannot convince management that rsync is a
worthy tool due to the rote "it's shareware, it's not supported" FUD.
Are there any documented, corportate users of rsync? Testimonials? In
short, how do I drag this risk-averse group out of the FTP age into the
rsync present?

Debian Sarge or CentOS4.3
...er now.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good software platform. I have
been using Debian Sarge and CentOS 4.3 for testing and feel that either one
will do just fine. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations based
on experience. Any rock solid installs out there on either as a
testimonial?

Asterisk as office PBX
...a more classical hardware PBX.
The planned asterisk topology is : The E1 will connect to asterisk and
asterisk will connect to our LAN where we will have 14 SIP phone
installed.
I want to make sure that a P4 1GHz with 512 Mb and a E100P card will be
able to handle the load and be stable ...
Any testimonial of people having implemented that setting and being
happy with it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Thomas Mangin

Web apps on a R server
...hoice for the R part is to use one of these two tools:
- deployR[1]
- OpenCPU[2]
and JavaScript for web apps.
OS is Fedora 22 and web server Nginx.
I have been reading documentation about these two R application
integration tools, and find hard to choose one method. So I am
interested in hearing testimonies from anyone with experience and
pro/cons.
Thank you for advice.

Looking for a terminations provider (carrier grade)
...Good rates
-Excellent customer service (although, compared to RNK, if they have a trained
monkey working the phones, they can probably impress us)
-Flexible/no contracts
Any and all experience you have would be good to hear. I've posted this on
both users and biz as I expect to hear more user testimonials from the users
list and more biz proposals from the biz list. If you want to offer your own
services, please do it in a private email so as not to clutter the lists.

Samba 4 in production?
I have read many stories and testimonials from people that are running
Samba 4 in production.
This encouraged me to try it out in a couple of virtual machines and, as
expected I encountered no problems that
I could not overcome. (mostly DNS setup issues)
We are running 3.5 right now just as a plain NT4 domain controller with
DRBD an...
