Worker-be-gone
Hello,
Thank you so very much for Backgroundrb. Good Stuff.
A general question:
Do:
- calling ''teminate'' within a worker
- calling delete_worker through MiddleMan
- letting the :ttl expire
- calling MiddleMan.gc! (with an appropriate timestamp)
All accomplish the same thing?
And here''s a bonus feature request: It''d be cool if you could specify

Wine crashes when I open one certain window
Hello,
I have a problem with Wine. I use to go onto a 3d chat (a bit like SL but better :D), which is made for Windows.
Everything works fine, even the 3d graphics are good, but Wine crashes when I right-click on an object in the 3d world to access its properties.
The whole program freezes, and finally I've got to kill it.
BUT it's not acting like that each time, some rare times it works.

I'll try it. My expectation is that it will work just fine *once it starts*.
That is my experience with downloading using a browser.
In the case of wget, the

I am looking for someone who knows the rsync protocol byte specifics, so
I can write the documentation for the file list and file data transfer
parts of the protocol. I have already written a simple explanation of
the protocol handshake, and I would really like for the end result to be

I have attached what I have written so far, a rough draft of what I

Record() : How to get filename created with %d?
Hello
About Record(), ATFT 2nd Edition says that "if the filename
contains %d, these characters will be replaced with a number
incremented by one each time the file is recorded."
Problem is, the documentation doesn't explain how to refer to this
filename later in the dialplan :-/
In this particular example, I want to move the file to the web
server's /htdocs so users can

I can accept the user agreements and open the installer, but when I get to the world.MPQ (i think thats the file) file, WINE crashes and tells me there was something wrong and the install hangs at 24%.
I'm fairly new to Ubuntu AND WINE so I don't know where to

browsers slowing Centos 7 installation to a crawl
My video problems mentioned in a previous thread are gone,

my Centos 7 slows to a crawl.
Chromium seems to be the least bad.
Sometimes it slows to the point that I cannot even move the mouse.
Even switching between virtual terminals takes a while sometimes.
When I get there, top generally
