TellMe Voice Recognition in Asterisk working..
A couple of weekends ago I decided to see if I could get Asterisk to
play nice with TellMe's VoiceXML studio. They provide the VoiceXML
studio for free, and you can access it through SIP, so I thought this
would be a fun and cheap way to integrate voice recognition into my
IVR. I have posted a brief tutorial with code and examples on the

In conjunction with my last post on Tellme I want to write another
suggestion for an application I had.
I don't know if you guys have come across Google Gas

But basically it is an application that this guy has developed using the
Google API to search an online database on gas prices in your area....

I''m reporting on what I found after trying to use mechanize on a site
like www.tellme.com.
With mechanize versions 0.6.5, 0.6.4, 0.6.3, I was able to use
mechanize without any problems on www.tellme.com.
However, when I upgraded to 0.6.6 or 0.6.7, mechanize simply ground
to a halt after a while. I''m not sure where the problem lies, but

Speech Recognition
Does anyone know of a speech recognition module (like say yes or no, or
numbers) I guess due to the complexity of speech recognition it might just
be found in commercial applications or am I wrong like always?

access to asterisk server since internet
...with x-lite
and that's ok but when i wanted to access to it since internet that hasent
taken place
knowing that my server has access to internet by a wifi router that has a
public ip address (e-g a.b.d.c) and asterisk server has a private ip
192.168.1.111 (the firewall is disabled)
can some one tellme how i should configure the x-lite clients with this
configuration
and what should i change to access to my server since internet

Folders disappears and all mail lost
...oblem, sometime (in the last 2
month happens 3 times).
All the mail (Except INBOX) and all folders disappear.
THe space on disk remain allocated.
To this mailbox are connected 3 computers (2 PC Windows 10, and 1 Mac OS).
I cannot determine who and why this happens to this mailbox.
Can someone tellme how I can find the PC that delete all mail.

Voice Recognition
Has anyone out there had any success with any type of voice
recognition? I would LOVE to see something work within Asterisk. I
have tried for days and can't seem to get this right. Is it even
possible? I have read everything I can find, but it's like the sphinx
integration/documentation was dropped because of lack of interest. I
tried this with Sphinx-2 because it contained the

Will Asterisk do well in this application?
I have a customer looking for an automated way to provide his customers
information.
He found some windows software called Active Call Center - but I believe
that he did the 40 day trial and it crashed his windows machine to much.
So he wants something that can do a similar task running on linux.
The Users expierience should go something like this
One of his customers calls in the IVR asks
