OT: VIA Mini-ITX, Asterisk, and hardware
...e small (12 x 2 x 11) case (with 1 4cm fan)... They look
like a good next step (or leap) up from a Soekris Net4801. I know that
1ghz C3 != 1ghz intel, but it's still probably better than a 266mhz Geode...
I would love to try this board with Sangoma A101's, te110p's, and even
some TDM4xx's, but if people out there already know that * is a bad fit
here, I probably won't even bother and look elsewhere. Any tips, notes,
caveats, etc from anyone? Anyone using any of the hardware I mentioned
with one of these boards?
Thanks!

Question on Zap interfaces
I have a TDM4xx card with two (3 and 4) interfaces for my land lines. I
have a basic setup working with them and one VoIP provider. Questions:
1. How do I determine which Zap line the incoming call is on so I can
handle it differently? One line is my home phone and the other is my

How to test if PCI 2.2?
Is there a way to test if the motherboard is ready for a Digium card
(PCI 2.2) ?
I would like to know from a remote computer, where I have (root) access,
if this computer is ready for a TDM22B.

Fritz card technology & German *
Hi all,
I've been working with * for a long time now, but only with analog FXS/FXO
systems.
I am venturing towards setting up a box in Germany now and I believe that
requires a Fritz card? Do I even have to use the Fritz cards? Why not a
Digium card....
We have 2 ISDN lines ( --> 6 handsets) so I'm guessing that will require 2
Fritz PCI cards (they have 1 port only). Then

Dial to Answer -- Can this be done?
Let's suppose you have a PSTN line with multiple extensions. One of these
extensions is connected to an Asterisk FXO port. For reasons that I won't
go into, the "normal" configuration of the system is that when a call comes
in on the PSTN line, Asterisk *does not answer* -- the other extensions do
whatever they would do if there were no Asterisk system there.

four wildcards in a single pc
Hi.
Please excuse me asking this again. But it really puzzles me.
We're installing asterisk at a branch office at NJ (HQ is at
Petach-Tikva)
It'll need to support 5 POTS lines, 11 analog extensions and four VOIP
phones.
I wanted to go with a T1 card from digium and a channel bank, but we
have a dead line. It has to be up and running by January 1st.
I don't have the time to start
