Hi, I got a card from Digium TDM with 2 FXO modules (red ones). There is a problem that has me quite upset and is that asterisk always detect tones repeated two, three or more times. i mean, if i press 123 on my phone. asterisk detects somethin like: 1112233333 or 1111112333 or things like that. In Australia, Telstra, the local telco provides isdn modem for isdn connection. The modem has 2 analogue telephone jacks and a serial port for connection to dialup internet. I have a customer that wants to run Asterisk in their Italy office. They have 3 BRI connections and 2 analog (POTS) lines. I am looking to see if there are any success stories out there with a similar configuration. Right now I plan on using a Digium TDM02B for the analog lines, but I don't really know what to use for the BRI's. Can anyone recommend a BRI card that supports Asterisk and that will work in Italy? OK, I think I may have found the problem for myself at least. Actually, a friend of mine suggested it. Apparently, Asterisk is a little too fast for the card. Placing a "w" in front of the number to insert a pause looks like it did the trick! Dial(ZAP/1/w5555555) Looks like it gives the card a chance to come online? So, at least in this case, it was not that Asterisk was keeping
