Anyone can run Fallout Tactics in Wine? How? Fallout 2 works almost perfectly now, but FT just gives me black screen. -- Don't talk to strangers 'Cause they're only there to make you sad Don't dream of women "Don't Talk To Strangers" 'Cause they'll only...

As I discussed earlier with you, I am very much excited about this idea, bringing a new user friendly standard of writing as well as accessing the documentation. A couple of queries, The author writes up in markup language -> possibly host the content on github -> discussion over the content on mailing list -> changes to be done -> changes done -- seems fine till here. We define a

Docs strategy and tactics
Hi, I am interested in doing this project in GSoC and I?ve filed a proposal. I?m really fascinated by this idea. Previously I translated the docs of Ghost to Chinese on GitHub, and found that GitHub is a great place to store and write docs. Contributors fork the docs repo on GitHub, modify it / create new article and send a PR. Then we can discuss the PR on GitHub just like on a mailing list,

Fallout Tactics problem
Hi all, I've successfully installed FT, and it sorta runs. Specifically: o It installed without problems. o It runs the intro animations and training walkthroughs, but the anims alternately play audio or video, pausing the other while one plays. o Character creation works, although the keyboard occasionally fails to work... not sure why. o Screen redraw is hosed when scrolling left or

"Living Downstream Without Drowning" BOF @ Dev Meeting
Mike Edwards and I will be hosting a talk/BOF called "Living Downstream Without Drowning" which is for anyone maintaining a bunch of local changes to Clang/LLVM/etc. We will present some procedures and tactics we've evolved at Sony, including patch tactics for reducing merge pain, and how we are throwing automation at the problem. But we are really curious what YOU have done and what we can learn from each other, so we can all manage to keep from drowning under the flood of changes from upstrea...

Interest in a Debug Info BoF at EuroLLVM?
...Alternatively we could just have a hacker-lab table again, which worked out pretty well at the last US meeting. Some potential discussion topics for the BoF/table could be: * Improving debugging of optimized code ** Defining what -Og might mean ** How to handled function merging and outlining ** Tactics for finding where passes drop debug info * "COMDAT DWARF" ** tactics for being able to strip/deduplicate DWARF for functions that are stripped/deduplicated. * Tools related to debug info testing/verification ** opt -debugify ** the venerable llvm-dwarfdump ** DIVA (presented last yea...

Why doesn't Asterisk project document certain important features of Asterisk officially?
Hi Everyone, I am wondering why documentation of some of the vital parts of Asterisk is hosted on voipinfo.org (unreliable is some parts) and not on asterisk.org? For example the list of AMI events are not well documented and one has to guess which version supports which event. The documentation file for AMI for Asterisk 1.4 is really only a startup guide and it doesn't even provide a full

Multiple imputation, multinomial response & random effects
Dear R-group, Could somebody recommend a package that can deal with a multinomial response variable (choice of breeding tactic in mice, which has four unordered levels), multiply-imputed data (generated using the Amelia package) and two non-nested random effects: individual identity (133 individuals made up to four choices each) and year (for which there are six levels and sample size varies
